I'm getting quite excited about the weekend we have planned. This afternoon we're driving out to Regina (my hometown) which is a 5.5 hr drive. My cousin (mom's side of the family) is getting married tomorrow. He is marrying a lady from Japan that he meet while working in Japan. We haven't met her yet. Then on Sunday we're going to THE football game. This is a huge event between Regina and the city where I now live Winnipeg as these two cities are big rivals. This game sells out in minutes. My cousin (the groom) and I arranged for a group of 59 people to go including lots of the people from Japan. I'm not quite sure what his wife thinks of all this. (BTW, if Jo sees this, this couple now lives in Seattle). Should be a blast hanging out with my cousins that I don't see very often (I invited cousins from my dad's side of the family too, to the game )
Then my dad's side of the family decide we should have a big family dinner/reunion since we were in town. So that's Sunday night. Then Monday we head home. We're also staying in a hotel with waterslides. My whole family, mom, my two sisters with their DH, and each have 2 kids are all heading out today. So one wedding, one family reunion, and one football game in 2 days.
Should be crazy but fun.
Thanks for the advice on the bubblegum. I had a patient recommend the pb to me as well. I did get it out with ice and scrapping with a butter knife. What a job! I'm going to do CLX right now before the kids get up, then I will be done week 5 out of 12. DH had to go to work for a bit so hopefully will be on the road by after lunch.
