6 degrees of Cathe Separation?

Cathlete
My DH works with a lady who has a friend who knows Cathe! I am stupidly excited by this news!

He got to talking with a lady at work and mentioned I do step videos. She asked him who I did and he said "Cathe somebody!" Turns out she has a friend who is a friend of Cathe's!

LOL When I found out that my Brother-in-law lives about 15 minutes away from Cathe's gym, I half-jokingly suggested that we sell our house and buy one in his neighborhood. But, I'm so not a Jersey girl.

So I now scored a a Cathe calendar! Apparently, she can score a bunch of Cathe stuff and is going to give some to ME! Yeah!!!!

>I'm so
>not a Jersey girl.

As a Jersey girl, just out of curiosity, what exactly is your perception of a "Jersey girl?"

I know you're not asking me Lauramax, but I wanted to say that CATHE is my perception of a "Jersey girl", so to me, Jersey girls are A-OK! Maybe one day I'll be an unofficial Jersey girl.

I think the stereotype referred to here is big hair, ridiculously fake nails, loud, obnoxious behavior, trashy clothes, etc. Not nice, and not true! I'm sure there are women like that in NJ, as there are everywhere else. But I've spent a lot of time in NJ and I can say that the people I know there are great. NJ gets such a bad rap, but most of the state is beautiful. It's the garden state ya'll! :p :p

Having been brought up in New Jersey, I felt a little sad when I read that remark:(

I apologize. That came out sounding negative. I live in PA and am accustomed to the scenery here. That's all I meant. FWIW, my dh was born and raised in Jersey. So, you could say, I love my Jersey man! :)

Also, when dh and I were dating, he lived in Jersey and I lived in central PA. We went back and forth over which state we would live in. We finally agreed to live closer to Philly on the PA side.

I'm not saying Jersey doesn't have its beautiful areas or that PA doesn't have any fugly areas. I just have a strong preference for PA. Believe me, living in Jersey would make my homeschooling life easier. They have one of the best homeschooling laws compared to PA.

Have a nice day!:)
