Cathe uses several different barbell sets in her workouts. The bar is usually about 4 ft. long and her maximum weight doesn't exceed 50 lbs. Yes, it is a somewhat shorter bar than the "classic" length.
The important thing here is making sure Walmart has lighter plates you can buy separately to use with the bar. If you get this set, the lowest you can go is 14 lbs. For endurance workouts, 14 lbs. might be too much for certain exercises, like bicep and shoulder exercises. Otherwise, it does look like the ones Cathe uses.
