50 and over week of Oct 3 check in

i have not worked out for 2 days, so of course i killed myself.


OUCH! gonna be sore tomorrow. did jen's upper body w/1 set of mindy's SS workout mixed in, and then UCB and the 8 m. abs. yep, i'm insane, but that was established a long time ago.

if i can move i may ride this evening,

tomorrow is well, MCB in the am and then!!!!!!!!



SECRETARIAT, THE MOVIE!!!!!!!



i've been waiting for 4 months for this to come out. only time i go to the movies is when a horse movie comes out. LOL! well, not all horse movies, just the ones that aren't hokey, which actually boils down to SEA BISQUIT & SECRETARIAT. so, i do not do movies very often. i remember in '73 watching secretariat win the triple crown, he was and is still the most incredible horse. no other horse has yet beat his track record. i'm kind of a horse freak, can ya tell??? anyone else going to see the movie???????

Hello!!

Cathy- We are! My husband is from Kentucky and his parents were huge horse fans- We actually have a picture of Secretariet that he had when I met him!!! And- every Kentucky Derby glass since the 1960's!

I did a 6 mile walk on the beach with a friend- the only thing is- my hip always hurts from the slant of the beach!

DH is getting almost as bad as I am about Working out- we now go to a 6:00 TRX class on Fridays before going out to eat!! So-- I have to get ready!

Cathy, we are also anxious to see that movie. DH lived in Louisville, KY when Secretariat won the Derby, and told me that this was the most beautiful horse he had ever seen. I also saw Sea Biscuit and loved it! I used to ride when I was in my 20s, but haven't since then. Loved it!

I have decided to go with just gentle stretching this week, and next week I'll see if I can handle more. I did a few moves yesterday, and my back is better. Maybe I can avoid the chiropractor this time and get through this on my own.
