Hi everyone,
This morning I did the FIRM Total Body Toner. This was actually a challenging workout...good total body workout. While doing the ab exercises, my Siamese cat (Takashi "Taka") became extremely affectionate and decided to add extra resistance by sitting on my stomach. He hasn't done that for quite some time. My cats have learned over time that it is not safe being near me during my workouts with flying feet and moving dumbbells.
Jann - I got P90X about 3 months ago and did it for a month. I liked it but I get bored doing the same thing week after week. Yoga X is 90 min. long and it's a good workout, but I hate yoga and just couldn't get myself to do it again. I did sub in other yoga dvds, but just didn't enjoy it. I also have CLX and did it for 6 weeks, but I got bored doing the same thing week after week. It finally dawned on me that I need to be mentally challenged when I exercise. I think that is why I took ballet and other dance classes (jazz, tap, modern dance, lyrical) for over 15 years. Remembering different foot patterns at the barre can be challenging as well as learning new choreography. I like not knowing what comes next and that pertains to workout DVDs too. I think I have collected enough workout DVDs to last a whole year.
Magnolia - I'm enjoying the shorter workouts right now too.
