50 and over week of May 17 check in

Hi all!
I did Boot Camp Cardio only today - its about 30 minutes I burned over 250 calories! :D I did not do the cardio circuit I have to get to my yardmax. :)

Hello Ladies,

Well, I didn't get my workout in yesterday - the day just got away from me. We had our twins end of the year preschool program yesterday morning, which was adorable! (Imagine about twenty 4 year olds singing, "Rise and Shine, Give God the Glory, Glory!"). After that, DH had to go with my MIL to do a walkthrough at her new place and I took the twins home with me. We did some serious bubble blowing, then off to meet Daddy for lunch.....It was like that all day, until after supper I realized I only had 1/2 hour before the Penguins hockey game started!! Whew, what a game that was! So, as you can see, I had to prioritize and the workout lost!

But, today is a new day and I'm feeling good - so I took on STS #8 plus Ab Circuits Yoga based Abs. Has anyone else noticed that at around rep #11, the weight seems to multiply and become way heavier?? What's up with that? Maybe because we've been conditioned over the years to 12 reps, those extra 3 to make 15 are just murder....

Magnolia, I cantor at mass also! Isn't it neat to find other points of interest in common?? It took me a long time to work my nerve up to that, I'll tell you....
How do you like Chalene's program? I have the Turbo Jam set and really like her, but I'm not sure about investing in the Extreme when I've already got STS.

OK, sounds like nap time has officially come to an end - I've got to go assess the toybox damage!

Have a great weekend - I may not post again until Sunday/Monday since we're trying to head out to Charleston this weekend.

DOR today. I plan on doing disc 10 tomorrow. I am having a picnic here on Monday and I am sure I'll be running around trying to get things done.

Yesterday I switched 4ds kickbox for the treadmill. Today I did disc 7.

I will be behind you until the next mesocycle but I should be able to get all wo in. Since I missed Tues, Wed and Thur I will have to push this cycle into June. I will have a short active rest week but I think that will be ok.

This disc seemed harder. I did up some of the weights from the original 65% 1rm.

Only 1828 calories burned may need to get on treadmill.

Just finished disk 7 my arms are lead. I think my 65% is too heavy or something. :confused: I am in pain and I just finished. :eek: I did well, I did my best with ball abs. My arms hurt so badly I could hardly lift a 6 pound ball to do the abs. I added the pilates abs on also since I didn't do them yesterday. They were good. I have to go do yard work now, I hope I can hold onto the mower......:p
