50 and over week of July 19 check in

Hi, Y'all!

Cathy, I hear you about the clothes, it is frustrating. But Tricia is right, stick to your guns, you'll be healthier for it and it will make a difference.

Tricia, your children must be very sweet. That's wonderful. My husband is a great cook, too. Fortunately for us, we both love to cook, so we take turns.

Joan, I have a friend who swears you can make delicious brownies with black beans! I don't know if you have ever seen Hungry Girl, but she makes them with canned pumpkin.

Hi, Beth & Jann, hope you are having a good day.

Well, it's raining today, so I guess I'll find something to do inside. We are going to an out of town wedding over the weekend, but be back Sunday night.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Hi Everyone!

It must be the feeling fat day. I am too, but it is my own fault- I ate too many bing cherries today- my stomach is not right. I really bought them for the family, but then, I couldn't stop.

I agree with Jann and Tricia on the plyo legs. They make me happy. sort of like bing a kid again. And I also get a chill down my spine at some point during the workout- I had a trainer once tell me that was the feeling you should go for on the treadmill because it means the body is using the stored fat.

Cathy, hang in there with the clothes- Unless you are really off base with your diet- it will come. Keep a food log for awhile and see if you are like me- eating probably 2000 calories worth of bing cherries when your not lookin'

Joan, what is bbl? I hear you on being hungry, but just remember that you are losing weight because of it:D Then, you'll be so happy that the pains won't seem so bad.

I don't know the number of the disc I'm on anymore- I know I am on the last week of the meso 2 second time around- I took the back and bicep too seriously on Wednesday and I am having some DOMS. I don't mind sore legs, abs and arms, but when my back is overworked, it makes me feel tired. I want a massage or something. I am thinking of breaking a week early, then doing meso 3 after a week off- I will say that this program is really working for me- and it makes it so easy to know what to do and when to do it.

Magnolia, I have a couple of recipes with either prunes of applesauce to replace the fat in brownies- and they are good!! Black beans would be interesting:eek:

Well- Good night all- I have to rest my back!!!
Beth

Hi everyone,

Beth bbl is be back later. Of course I didn't come back because I didn't do my wo. I also haven't done anything today. I agree about sts I think I will always do it a couple of times a year because you don't have to think about what you're going to do.

I was almost perfect on the diet for three days. I went out to a buffet for lunch and ate perfectly. A half cup of sweet potato with no butter. Raw spinach with equivalent of 1 hard boiled egg and 1/4 cup seeds and 1 cup raw broccoli and 1/2 cup watermelon. But then dh had bad day at work and we went out to dinner. I guess I better start adding calories up. At least I'm not hungry.

If you go to www.JillianMichaels.com/freeDVD they will send you Banish the Fat Boost Metabolism dvd for $4.95 shipping and handling. In the fine print they also use that credit card to charge you $4.00 a week to use their website. Of course you can cancel at any time but how many people will notice?

Hello, everyone - happy Friday!

I started to log in last night, but I didn't have time to enter anything in, so I'm back again!
Yesterday I did the 4DS Kickbox cardio and abs. I love this, and of the 4DS it's the one I use most. I posted a question to Cathe about what I can do after STS in order to stay in shape for my sister's wedding, and she said to just mix it up and keep my body guessing. SO I think I might do a week each of her series. For example:

Week 1 - 4 Day Split series
Week 2 - Hardcore Series
Week 3 - BodyBlast Series
Week 4 - Cross Train Express
Week 5 - STS Meso #1, week 1 plus high intensity Cardio
Week 6 - STS Meso #2, week 1 W/Intense Cardio
Week 7 - Gym Stlye & Treadmill
Week 8 - Pyramids & High Step Training

Something like that - should be enough changes, don't you think?

I gotta say also, I still get excited every time I ask Cathe a question and SHE answers it! Cathe read my question and gave me her input - how cool and awesome is that??!!!

Well, I can't stay on for long - I'll be back after today's workout to enter it in and chat.

Have a great day!

hey everyone, i can't remember if i checked in yesterday. it has been busy. yesterday i did the firm's maximum cardio burn, then went riding in the evening for about 4 hrs. today, was outside at 8 & we rode all morning, then played outside this afternoon. so, no workout today, tomorrow is gonna be disc 15, then to my son's house to swim with the grandkids. ya'll have a great weekend!

Just a quick check in to get us back to the top. The last wo I have done was low impact step on Thursday. I need to catch up on disc 29 and 30 and what ever cardio for today. Someone give me ambition because I don't have any of my own. Joan

Hi, Ladies!

I've been doing paperwork for two days straight and haven't been able to work out. I'm suffering from withdrawal! I might try to do LIS tonight, but starting any workout at 9 pm usually means I'll be up until one o'clock so I don't know if it's worth it! Will try to check in tomorrow and let you know...

hi all, did disc 15 & 4-day split HIS, cardio only. i love both of those. HIS definitely has some difficult steps, but really fun when you finally get them.

then went and swam w/the grankids for awhile and we met papa for dinner. had fun!
have a blessed LORD'S day.
