50 and over week of January 10 check in

Hi ladies,

Calories were up today but food eaten was pretty healthy. I didn't put GWF on until late so I'm not sure how many calories used. I was very busy today running errands.

I looked at cardio core but it wasn't for me. I did athletic step.

I'm glad husbands are on the mend.

Tomorrow is housemax so I don't know if disc 6 will be Friday or Saturday.

Elliot is staying overnight Sunday to give parents a break. They are happy that baby boy is kicking and moving. I guess Elliot didn't move except for an occasional hiccup. That would have been a scary pregnancy for me. Both boys were big movers and shakers.

can't remember when i checked in last, so, here it is
sun/mon -- took off, was very tired and achy.
tue==upper body sculpt (the firm)
wed--cardio core fusion (firm)
thurs--back up (tracie's new ones)
fri- the plan is to do either 30/30 or emily's cardio challenge from the firm's homepage.
it is raining cats and dogs here. probably gonna flood. usually does when it rains like this down here.
well, gonna have the grandkids all weekend , so may not be around til monday. ya'll have a great weekend.

I did Disc 6 and the weights were just right. Also did the bonus leg drills.

I'm leaving today to go to PA with my sisters to go snowshoeing. Never done that before...so I will not be doing MMA: kickboxing tomorrow. I figure I'll be getting a lot of cardio exercise this weekend.

I got the vest and weighted gloves for Christmas. I haven't used the vest yet, but plan to do so when placing the barbell on my shoulders...my shoulders cannot take a lot of weight so I'm hoping this will help. I've been using my weighted gloves...I found handling 15 + weights is too stressful for my forearms and using the weighted gloves and pace weights have been helpful.

Well...I need to pack, finish the laundry and some housework.

Hi, Y'All.

Well, I was going to do all of Disc 6 today, bonus and all, and I almost finished the basic workout when I just suddenly didn't have anything left! That hasn't happened to me in a long while, and I am not sure if it was the not enough sleep last night or all the errands before the workout. Anyway, I'm just going to be sure to get enough sleep tonight (that shouldn't be a problem) and give either Step Forward by Tracie a try or Cardio Core Circuit.

Hi ladies,

I just realized I hadn't posted today. Just as I thought no wo. I spent over 4 hours cleaning and doing laundry. At least I used a lot of calories.

I just got a call from the nursing home my mil is in. I had to wake up dh. He had to give permission to send her to hospital. I think it is either the same infection or a new one.

Off to bed.

Back again,

I didn't get a good night sleep and have been tired all day. We had party tonight for dm. Tomorrow is babysitting. No wo today.

I did copy Kathryn's modifications for cardio core circuit. If I ever get back to it I will try these. I think for now I will to lowmax etc or treadmill.

i know i have asked this before, but i can never find the answer. sorry , but how do ya'll put the firm and tracies workouts in the workout calendar? it is hard because i don't know if they are true interval. maybe they are. what do ya'll think. i put the 2 i did today in as cardio & weights. SIM , of course , has the med ball w/cardio and i went pretty heavy on the lower body segments. well, thanks
