50 and over week of December 20 check in

Merry Christmas,

The kitchen only took 2 1/2 hours to put together. I'm glad we didn't wait until tonight. I just finished baking and am heading for bed.

Merry Christmas everyone,

My husband gave me the originial health club step so I had to try it out this morning. I did the 31 min premix of Imax 3. The step was solid...no flipping over if I accidently stepped on the edge. Still need to learn a lot of the step choreography which I know will come in time....this is a new dvd for me.

I'm visiting my family today...they live 1.5 hours away and then tomorrow we will be heading down to Williamsburg VA to visit my daughter and her husband.

Take care!

Merry Christmas!

I hope Santa was good to all of you.

We had a lovely Christmas, even the mishaps were very minor. Tomorrow, we're heading down to Atlanta to see my son, daughter-in-law and grandson (Tyler). That's the best Christmas present of all to me. (I'm taking my computer, and we're staying in a place that has a gym, so I'll be checking in.)

Have a great day.

Merry Christmas girls!!

We had a great time! I love getting the family together - :D
I can't really check-in with any type of workout. I have not sit down much though in the last week. I actually fell asleep last night around 8ish and didn't wake up until 9 this morning - I was exhausted. Today will be cleaning up and left overs. :)

I really want to at least take a look at the new workouts. Maybe tomorrow when things will be getting back to more normal.

I hope everyone's Christmas was wonderful and the family and fun continue to those of you traveling!!

Hi, again!

I think being on your feet a lot, the extra cleaning and cooking, counts as a workout! I was exhausted last night & slept until 9 this morning, too (I usually wake up by 7:30), but it was worth it. I made my in-laws happy, and I'm lucky they are still healthy enough to be able to come visit. It was nice. Besides, I don't have to worry about dinner tonight (leftovers in abundance).

Be safe, fellow travelers, and everyone have a wonderful weekend.

It sounds like everyone has been having a good Christmas. Family is still here and I don't think I will get workout in today. We did take down one of the Christmas trees. I thought since I had help I would take advantage of it.

I need a plan of action as of January 11. I really want to lose 20lbs as fast as I can. Yes I know that's not very fast but maybe 3/4lb per week instead of 1/2.

Hi Everyone!

Well, I am certainly fatter than the last time I checked in. (was it Linda that said she LOST weight??) I have been reading your threads but just about the time I start to write, someone around here needs me for something- It has been a great holiday with all the kids home, but I am off my routine and have sampled far too many things I have baked- enough said:(

I absolutely gave up on the cardio core yesterday, it made me want to cry actually, but this morning I did the hiit 20- that was great. I just cannot do anything involving hitting the floor and jumping back up again-I don't mind some modifying but if I start modifying every move I don't feel the workout-

I love the house max reference Joan!! How about the cooking max and shooping max?

I hope all of you are enjoying your families and stay safe on the roads!!:D
