Hi all,

Well I am back from sunny California.. it was a nice trip but am glad to be home. I missied my dogs and Fritz the parrot! I am off of work the rest of the week so this is what I consider my "real" vacation. Thanks to those that started the thread each day. I see the hot and muggy weather is continuing on this side of the country. Saratoga was beautiful. 70's or low 80's and no humidity. We mostly just visited with my MIL as DH does not get to see her that often. Went to a Japanese garden on Sunday. They had the most beautiful Koi pond with turtles etc.

I just got caught up on the Blog.. wow that new softwear project sounds interesting. I just got an MP3 player about a month ago and am trying to use it only for I-Trains right now.. I can;t imagine downloading Cathe workouts that have been pre-mixed on your computer... how do you get them to the TV? I think this would be great for business travelling where you could then do a mix without weights ( or with if you wanted to just use the sound part) so you could work out in your hotel room or the gym in a hotel. Our Cathe is always thinking ahead!

I think this week will be the Pure Strength series/.. have to get some weights in as I have been doing all cardio while I was away.

Be back later to check in:)

Happy Tuesday, All,

Deb, your vacation sounds wonderful - enjoy the rest of your week.

There may come a time when I download workouts, but I have no desire to do so now, especially since I have so many DVDs in good working order, as well as a pretty good number of VHS tapes.

Yesterday, I did SuperSets. I enjoyed it, more than I normally would enjoy a circuit workout that involves getting up and down off the floor, because the music is great.

Tonight, I plan to do CIA 7002 Hi-Low with Christi Taylor.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Welcome back, Deb--

I wish I had another vacation coming up. Instead, I am starting to dread the beginning of the school year and the end of easy summer.

I did the double upperbody on BM2 this morning. It's tough and I don't think I will do it again in a long, long time.

I'm with Jen on the new software being proposed. I am happy enough to have my DVDs and VHS tapes. I think I would just be baffled by the technology anyway.

Tomorrow is a cardio day, so I think I will pull out something old--maybe Power Max--that I haven't done in a long time.

I finished Slummy Mummy. It was absolutely hilarious. I am pretty certain it will be made into a movie. I even started casting in my head for some of the parts--there's Sexy Domesticated Dad (also called Deep Shallows by SM's husband), Yummy Mummy, SMOG (stands for Smug Mother of Girls), Alpha Mum, and Slummy Mummy's women friends, parents, mil. Strong recommendation--a guaranteed lol read.

garance, Slummy Mummy may be just what I need to read next. I'm halfway through Harry Potter and this last book is so bleak. I loved the others, especially the lighthearted parts, but there just don't seem to be any in this one so far.
