Good Morning all:

Today I did the first 25 minutes of Low Max and S&H Back & Core. Doing 20-25 minutes of cardio before weights seems to be a good formula for me. I will see on Thursday how the weight is going.

Jen: I have the second Total Body one. It supposedly has a 30 minute upper body stretch followed by a 30 minute lower body one. I would love to find underwear without elastic on the legs openings! what model/brand do you get? This is my problem area and the elastic really emphasizes it. Wow you are really mixing it up with the workouts! Good job.. it sounds like you are motiviated!

Josie: I think somewhere it says that moving counts as a workout ! LOL! I bet if you had a HRM on while you were doing it you would be surprised at the number of calories you burned. Thanks for the tip..I may look into this underwear too! Is C-9 the brand name?

Rhonda: good job on the pyramids! I could not do both upper and lower in the same day! I saw your knitting post over in the Open forum. There are a lot of knitters out there, it looks like your check-in will be very active. I have been meaning to ask you about the Macaw you have in your posts.. is this because you have had one? I had one exactly like the one that shows up as your avatar! His name was "Jake"!

Cathy: when you do a search, I find that the Advanced Search option works a lot better. You can select the forum you posted under eg, Open, Ask Cathy etc and then put in a key word like "Germany" and you should get any posts in that forum withthat word in them.

Happy Tuesday, All,

Yesterday I did TLT Endurance for Movement with Tracie Long. I really enjoy the TLTs - they're different from most of my exercise DVDs and they have a nice view of a harbor (Baltimore, I think).

Tonight, I plan to do the step portion of Candace Copeland's Step and Low, then one of the segments from the Classical Stretch TV show, Digestion. What the heck do you suppose I'm going to stretch in a DVD called Digestion? Things that make you go hmmm . .

Deb, I'll have to get back to you tomorrow on the brand of underwear without elastic in the leg holes. I frequently cut the tags off my clothes (that comfort factor again), and that's what I did with today's pair. I went into the ladies' room and checked, hee. I can't remember the name of the brand, but I'm pretty sure I have some at home with the tags still attached. I do know I usually get them from the Vermont Country Store catalog.

Hi, everyone--

I didn't post yesterday because when I came to my office, several shelves of books had collapsed, and everything was a mess. I am still cleaning things up.

Yesterday I did Muscle Max and today I did the Cardio Timesaver on LIC, which I personally think is much harder than doing the circuit, where you have time to cool off a bit between the step sections.

Went to see Harry Potter. Yes, it's very good, but there's so much missing from the book. I left wanting more. Imelda Staunton is wonderful as Dolores Umbridge. I'm really looking forward to the final installment of the books this Saturday--perfect timing for me since we are headed for the Jersey Shore the following week, and I love reading at the beach.

No, Deb, I have never done a ballet workout. I don't think I would be very good at them, since my sense of balance is not all that good. I have, on the other hand, a very good sense of rhythm---while it is clear from ballroom dancing, my husband does not.

Hi Ladies,

Today I will be running 5 miles with a trainer that I hired last year and worked out with her for 6 months. I'm trying to motivate her to do the marathon with me in January and that way we can motivate each other. She looks great and I'm hoping that she will help me out.
