Good Morning all:

Today was Pure Strength Back/Biceps/Abs. Also am down another pound! Yeah! I am at the 10 pound mark now:D .. only 20 more to go ( OMG that sounds hard!).. I had my first day of Diversity training yesterday. Part of it was watching the movie "Radio". Has anyone else seen this? I thought it was very good.

Josie:
Welcome Back! Glad to hear you had a good vaction. Sounds like your grandson is heading out to be an athlete. How old is he? walking 6 miles on a beach is no easy thing! Happy belated birthday !:) Thanks for the info on the tantowels. My assistant had some and gave me a packet to try out. I think I will do this and if they are good, order them from HSN. I really only want to have my legs look tanned for her wedding on Sept 1 so I don;t have to wear pantyhose.

Garance:
You don;t need a treadmill to do the I-Trains.. they have eliptical, stationary bike, and outdoors. However the outdoors requires an MP3 player. Let us know if you order those outfits. They look really cute. "As You LIke It" in Japan?? Seems strange:D

Jen:
Another S&H hater! LOLx( I don;t understand it but to each his own as they say! ;-) I will have to tell DH about your dental experience and ask him if this ever happened in his office!

Linny:
We can start the food log on Monday ( or actually Tuesday postings since we will be putting down what we ate the day before). I think we will be either doing lawn work or cleaning inside if it is still raining when we get to the Ronald McDonald house today. These are the I-Train Promo codes: CW2007, AH2007, YL2007. One of these has expired but I don;t remember which! I know 2 of them work. Do you plan on using the treadmill ones? first figure out how long you want,
then you can look at the description, and hear a mini - clip of it. ( and when I say "mini" I mean really short!). I have a 30, 35 and a 40 for treadmill and a 60 for outside. The one 30 min I have breaks it down into 3 -10 minute sections that you can do 1, 2 or all 3 depending on how you feel that day. I believe that is I-Tread Set 18 which shows a,b,c,d. Make sure when you download that you get all the segments. Which sunless tanners do you like best? the graduals or the overnight ones? any brands your favorites?

Have a great day! ;-)

Hi Deb and those to follow:
Deb: Thank you for the codes, hopefully I can pick up blank cds today.I don't think I'll be using the treadmill one since I don't have one. I think I pulled some ligaments on ball of foot. Having a hard time walking, tried put ice on it but hives start coming out.I'm going to try my spinner so I won't have to put all my weight on it.Regarding tans~right now I'm using FakeBake, I think you can only order it online. I got mine on Ebay. I like the color and has color so you can tell where it goes. Downside it rubs off on my socks when I sweat and rubs off on my sheets x( I'll check in later~Linny~

Hi Deb and all to follow<

My grandson will be 3 in November, so he was on the jogger. The tan towels work really great on your legs. I use one on my legs after I take a shower and then go to bed. In the morning you will have nicely tanned legs. You might need 2 or 3 applications depending on how fair you are.

Today I will be going to the Gym and doing 30 minutes of cardio then my upper body weights.

Have a great day!

Josie

Happy Thursday, All,

Josie, aren't those 2-year-olds precious? You never know what they'll do or say next.

Deb, congratulations on your weight loss - that's awesome!

I'm pretty sure the thing that broke on my dentist's tray was part of the high-speed drill. It continually shoots out water while it's in use. My dentist had to get on the phone with the guy who maintains her equipment and have him walk her through how to do a temporary fix while I was in the chair. She stopped several times during the procedure and stuck a pick into the side of the drill.

Yesterday. I did Leslie Sansone's Walk and Kick, which is ridiculously easy, and a Tammilee stretch segment. After I finished, I pulled out my 3 Slow/Heavy tapes to give to my daughter. It felt so good to know I won't be doing them again, so I know it was the right decision.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Hi Deb, Linny, Josie et al--

Linny, I thought your comment about your fat looking better tan was hilarious. Never quite thought of it that way before, but you are probably right. I guess I am wondering these days what my skin would have looked like if I had been more protective of it in my youth. I read somewhere that Kim Basinger, who looks fantastic in her 50s, avoids the sun almost completely. Sorry about your foot--sounds painful.

I did Petra Kolber's PK Step and followed with a Core workout. I would classify PK Step as intermediate, but by the end of 50 minutes, I am definitely sweating. Can anyone here do those elevations in the first Core workout? My husband looked at me this morning and said, "What are you trying to do?!!" I pointed to the TV and he just chuckled and shook his head. I'd love to prove him wrong some morning, because I could tell he thought, "She ain't ever doin' that one."

I just won 25 dollars over at IWON.com with the slot machine game. Doesn't go very far these days, does it?

Alas, Deb, I don't have an MP3 player either.

I am headed over to the Collage Video site to see if anything looks interesting there. I am still in a state of the blahs.

FYI, the final section of More magazine this month is excellent--a big feature on heart health, followed by exercises for a strong back, some of which look quite interesting.

Have a great day, everyone!
