40s short on time week of 11/8

Hey everyone, don't think I saw a thread yet.

I'm short on time but thought I'd get us started.

Sat - Bootcamp that I just bought finally--pretty fun, no wonder you all like it. Sun - TF 45 min EZ (it wasn't easy), Mon - CLS Lean Circuit 1 (mostly bi/tri), but I remembered how I really don't like compound exercises, also the TF 20 min core

gotta run, sorry so short!
 
:(Guess I'm all alone....didn't sleep well last night, so I slept in so no w/o for me today. I do have some slight DOMS, in a different way from CLX yesterday, so I guess that's good and a nice change for my body, hope it does something.

Your title is spot on this week. I'm completely full with work, I see a few evenings ahead!

At the weekend I did Hiit Pyramid and Ab Circuits SB. Saw some improvement on the stability ball so that was good. Then yesterday was L&G and today was SB.

I did get out of the house last night though. Went to see The Social Network, good film, worth seeing if you get the chance.

OK, back to work!
 
Hi Lisa and Ronne (and whoever else follows). I too agree with this week's title - that extra hour has messed me up. I think I planned this STS thing right. By the time I am done, the new dvd's should be here. Yippee.

Oh, I saw were Tracie Long is supposed to come out with some new dvd's in January and I am not sure if I want them. I used to love her stuff, then I really liked it and now I like it but I am not crazy about her like I used to be. Her very last set of dvd's were okay. (she had two sets back to back) They seemed rushed and the production was a bit off. The lights were too bright, she had a shadow and it just looked odd. I hope Cathe has not spoiled me for everyone else. The only reason I am considering the purchase is because she will be using a medicine ball and I like medicine ball workouts. I will probably get them. I am not ready to give up on her. This will probably be the deciding factor. Anybody else have an opinion on her?

Hi girls! Sorry, yesterday ran away from me! Have gotten my work outs in, I restarted STS, ( Murphy's doing) but now I am going to have to re-think it, with the new one's coming soon! Had to get my mammogram done yesterday, always fun! Murphy, I used to LOVE Tracie, now not so much, I can't put my finger on it as to why tho. Not much help, am I? Ronne, we saw MegaMind this weekend, not too bad, I didn't fall asleep! Lisa, hope you get some sleep tonite! Talk to you tomorrow! Mary
 
Hi everyone

Murph - good to see you back. I only have one Tracie Long DVD. I would probably get more, some of her recent series looked good but with a limited budget I tend to stick to Cathe, KCM and Amy Bento.

Mary - What's MegaMind? I've not heard of that. Is this your second time on STS or third even?

Today I did PLB - haven't done that one in a while. The time flew by and I did OK with the stability ball section which I usually struggle with.

another quick post from me. didn't sleep well again but I did get in a CLX Fat Burn w/o - 30 min. It's funny (not ha ha funny) how before all I could do was sleep, now I can't. My body probably doesn't know which was is up anymore :)

Ronne, I struggle with the stab ball section on PLB too, it NEVER gets any easier!

Murphy, Cathe has spoiled me too, but surprisingly I am getting into Chalene now.

Mary, I really should do a mammo too, but I always get false positives and have to go back for more views, what a pain!

Off to work, it's been waaaay too busy for my liking.
 
Hi everyone! Today was meso 1 disc 2, back and tri's. It moved quick, hadn't done it in a long time. Ronne, impressive with the ball. I always follow Brenda! I don't want her to feel left out, so I join her! MegaMind is a cartoon with Will Ferrel and Brad Pitt. Lisa, my GF has the same troubles when she gets her mammograms done, alwAys getting called back for more views! It is annoying and causes lots of stress for her. Murphy, did you see Tracie had a sale this past weekend? Well, just finished washing the floor, now I need to get to the vacuuming. Talk to you tomorrow. Mary

Lisa - you poor thing. Too much sleep, no sleep ... what a nightmare!

Mary - film sounds good I'll watch out for that.

Today I did a premix off Kickbox Surge. Super busy yet again. I expect this to carry on for the next couple of weeks then it should calm down again. Finding it difficult to keep awake at my desk though! It's that post-lunch slump!
 
Hi all, I got sleep last night, I think it may get better now because I feel that I had my "cycle". No real period, but bloating/crampiness is now gone. That's the only way I can tell anymore. I did CLX Lean Circuit 2 and added on ME upper body. I was in NO HURRY to get to work. We had a light dusting of snow and I wanted all the traffic to clear out before I attempted to get on the road. I'll leave a bit early too. I figure this will be my "snow" schedule and if they don't like it, tough!

Mary, are you excited for the new Cathe workouts? I'll get to download them on the 19th! :) I hope my "rotation" (I use the word loosely) is done by then. It should be unless I take more unscheduled rest days.

Hi all. I had to take apat the STS tower b/c the kids were playing on it too much. It was crazy. I tried to do some HiiT workouts and core workouts but the kids were at it again. I have to remember that these are the times that will be the good 'ole datys one day. Now they have started stacking the risers and jumping off of them. I would say they are making me crazy but I am already crazy. Hm, what comes after crazy?

On a side note, speaking of mammo's, I get mine done tomorrow. I guess this is the season for them.

Just got whiplash from Mary whizzing past :D

Lisa - snow already?! eek! I don't blame you for being cautious driving.

Murphy - yes, one day you'll sit with your grandchildren and tell them all about how their naughty mum/dad used to take your workout equipment apart and my, how you'll laugh :p but till then it's a pain in the backside! Have you tried weight training by picking them up?!

Today I did KCM Body Training and the abs from B&G. I'm enjoying this November rotation there's a nice bit of variety in it.
We're doing a car boot sale on Sunday morning (I think it's the equivalent of a yard sale but with loads of people together) hoping to get rid of a few bits and pieces!

Ronne - when you said car boot sale I thought you were talking about those boots the police but on car tires when people have way-too-many outstanding tickets. They put them on so that the person cannot move the car. That would be an interesting sale. Good luck. Oh, BTW, I do use the kids as weights - but not by choice. They usually jump on me while I am doing abs or push ups.
 
Hi everyone, I woke up with a slight headache (probably because more snow is expected tomorrow), but I still did Athlete Step and it felt good!

Ronne, you cracked me up with the car boot sale, I thought it was selling boots out of your car! :)

Mary, hope you day isn't so busy today, but you are welcome to come vacuum and do my floors anytime.

Murphy, let's see, since you have to put your workout equipment "away" you can burn more calories since you have to take it out to do your workout :)

Happy weekend! Just did a kickboxing thing today, not Cathe, don't tell! Lisa, I can't believe you have snow all ready! We are in the 60's. Hope the sleep stays with you! Ronne, make lots of money with your "boot" sale! Murphy, I remember the kids making me crazy like that!
