I had to do that not long ago and I felt like I was lynched! You'll get used to it in a few days.

I'm the opposite. My hair was about an inch long, and now I'm trying to grow it out. It's a LONG LONG process. But I'm getting there!

Jes,
I was preparing to congratulate you on your loss (of inches on your body, that is):7 .

I recently had my hair cut and am still kicking myself over it. My hair is my best feature (or was anyway). I just had it cut again (just a little and layered) to let it grow out again.

You'll get used to it.

Well, seeing how you looked great with short hair, great with long hair...I don't see how you can go wrong!

I haven't had mine cut in like ayear! It still looks good though. its just long now and freaks me out when I wear a V neck top. It makes me jump when it tickles my chest! Its makes me think "Did I miss something?" lol. Its got to get shorter that is for sure!

Since June of last year, I've cut 20 inches off my hair. It used to reach that area where my butt turned into my thigh, now it's bra strap length. Talk about a shocker! It was really healthy, but it wasn't very stylish. Now it has a bunch of layers and I had red highlights put in and I love it. Sure, I miss my hair (it was the only thing guys used to comment on when I would go out for a night on the town) but I'm glad I did it.

You'll get used to it. And once you start playing around with it, the shorter length gives you so many options!
