3 Month Challenge Check-in

Good Morning Everyone,
I hope I didn't get anyone backing out!!!!!!:) Have you guys thought about your goals or anything over the past couple of days? In my opinion alot of work can be done in 3 monthes(or how many monthes we have before christmas).I ment to get a measuring tape and a new journal yesterday when I went to the mall but I forgot:-( Prehaps I didn't really want to measure myself.
My goals are to eat clean,I need some slimming around my waist,hips and thighs.I would also like to define my arms a little more.
I made up a rotation last night that I will be following for the next couple of weeks.I am not sure if I will be sticking with it for a month or just a couple of weeks.
Mon-PUB/Cardio(50-60 min)
Tues-PLB/Cardio
Wed-Cardio
Thurs-HST
Fri-Cardio
Sat-ME/Cardio
Sun-Off

Mon-L&G/ Cardio
Tues-CTX UB/ Cardio
Wed-Cardio
Thurs-BC
Fri-Cardio
Sat-PH/Cardio

My cardio can either be interval running,Imax or just step.I am going to try and do 3 interval workouts per week.They will be 50- 70min long.
I may do this rotation for longer but switch it with other UB or LB workouts.
I am also going to try eating 6 mini meals a day.
Here are my rules}( I never like rules!
1.Try working out on a empty belly (minus coffee)
2.Eat 6 meals a day,protein at each one.
3.No sweets (or VERY limited amounts)
4.Eat atleast one salad a day
5.No eating after 7 p.m
6.Drink lots of water
7.Take my vitamins
8.May try not to eat carbs at last meal(we will see how that goes)
9.Have a food journal
10.Follow all rules!

Anyway ladies,thats what I have up my sleeve.I would like to get into tip top shape before christmas parties start.10 lbs is my goal to lose and I am sure with a healthy diet and some great workouts I will get there.
Is anyone else ready!!!!!!!!Good Luck...

My goal for this challenge is to lose 15lbs. I need to lose about 25 but I'm aiming for 15 for now. I'm going to go back on WW. I lost 30 lbs in the past by doing WW so hopefully this will work for me.

I know that I need to up my cardio to get rid of this fat but I also want to tone up. Currently I work my abs 5 days/week in the morning, walk 3.5 miles during my luchbreak and then workout for about an hour in the evenings. What do you think of this for a 2 week rotation? Please offer any suggestions to improve it. Thanks!

Hi Dana,
I did my workout today.I did PUB and a 50 min (5mile) run.It was a interval run.I guess I have one interval done for this week! I like interval training though b/c the time seems to go by so much quicker.
My meals are going to be a little off today b/c it is Thanksgiving here and I am having a Turkey Dinner (AGAIN) today.My brother got married on Sat,the meal was turkey,my MIL cooked yesterday and it was turkey...today my mom is cooking and what else would we have but another bird!It will be nice though b/c all of my family will be there and even some of the in laws.It could get noisy.
I am back to work tomorrow, after having a week off.I feel like I could have more time off though.I guess I had such a busy summer that one week just flew by.
If I were you,I would up my cardio a little.I am doing the same also_Or turn your walk into a light jog.Walk/Jog. My sister isn't a runner but she used my treadmill last week and she enjoyed it.She ran for one minute and walked for one minute.She was surprised that she couldn't go for longer b/c she has all of the Cathe videos but i think aerobics and running are totally different.She was also very sore the next day.
Anyway...off I go to my moms.Hopefully more people will cehck in .

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone,

My goals for the next 3 months are pretty simple.
1) To not gain any weight over the next 3 months.
2) To work on further developing my arm definition in time for holiday fashions.
3) To integrate more yoga/stretching into my routine.

For the month of October I'm doing a rotation where I'll be doing 3 cardio workouts per week (1 step, 1 hi/lo, 1 kickbox), 2 full body weight workouts per week (this varies, last week it was ME and Supersets), and 1 circuit workout per week (last week was Cardio and Weights). I'd like to add in a least 2 20 minute or more yoga/stretching sessions, but so far that hasn't happened.

I think for November I might switch back to a 3 day split for weights (this time Pure Strength) and make sure that one of my cardio workouts is an interval style workout.
