2nd Phase of Insanity - WOW!

I just started the 2nd phase of Insanity, after 1 week off and oh boy!! I did the Max Intensity Plyo last night and can't imagine I will ever be able to get thru that entire video as it's intended. I'm nervous and excited to do the rest of the 2nd phase videos :)

I was definitely impressed with the first phase. I didn't do the rotation exactly, because I'm also training for a 1/2 marathon on Mother's Day. I'm trying to get in 4 Insanity workouts a week and a 7-10 mile run in twice a week. So far, I have to say, the insanity is really making my training go much better. It's a great cross trainer for marathon training! Well at least the first 4 weeks were. We will see what the next 4 weeks brings.......

Those of you that have done Insanity, did you find the 2nd phase hard to do? I was a little surprised to see how much longer the workout is - from an average of 40 minutes to 55? Ouch.......

Hi. The 2nd phase of Insanity is definitely harder BUT after doing the first phase, my endurance increased a lot so I am sure that helped. If I had tried to do phase 2 w/o doing phase 1 first, I never would have survived. :p
 
Yeahhh! FitMommy!! Congrats. I bought mine from QVC about a month or so ago and have attempted two of the workouts. I'm amazed at the thought of surviving ALL of them more than once!! You rock star, girl!!

I am actually about to start my 2nd rotation of Insanity. I have been trying to start it for 3 days now with no luck but tmrw it will happen! I am afraid! :eek:
