Hi 2007 Road Trippers!

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY -- this is important info!

Here’s what you need to know to reserve a room at our preferred hotels for the 2007 Cathe Road Trip. Both hotels currently have plenty of space available and should be able to accommodate our whole group, but since our Road Trip will be on a busy summer weekend and these are popular hotels, please be sure to book your room as soon as possible.

A couple of important notes:

· This year we are going to let you folks handle roommate bookings on your own (you're all big girls & we know you can do it! ;-)) If you would like to share a room and don't have a roommate, CHECK THE OD FORUM. We are setting up a thread where people who want a roommate can post and can contact each other to work out the details.

· To get our special room rate at either hotel, when you call to book your room you must say that you are with “The Cathe Road Trip.”

· A complimentary breakfast is provided at each hotel (details below). Please note that the hotels plan for breakfast buffet quantities based on room bookings, so they do expect you to eat breakfast in the hotel in which you’re staying. If you think you’d prefer to eat breakfast at the other hotel in which you are NOT staying, you can do that for $7 per day extra, but you MUST tell the hotels this when you book your room.

I found this info on the "Visit Cathe" link and thought it might be useful...

Philadelphia International Airport...( Many hotels to choose from) If you are flying in you may want to stay at a hotel near the Philly airport. We are less than 30 minutes from Philly International airport. To get to our club take 95 south and follow the signs for the Walt Whitman Bridge. Take the the Walt Whitman Bridge exit and stay to the left as you go over the bridge. Stay on 42 South (Follow signs for Atlantic City) until you see signs for 55 south. Make a right onto 55 south. You will be on 55 south for about 10 minutes. Exit at 53 A (Glassboro Pitman Exit). Stay on Woodbury Glassboro Rd until it ends (You will go through several stop lights). At the end of Woodbury Glassboro Rd make a right onto 47 south. Go 300 yards and make a left into the Center at Doubletree. (You will see a Pizza Hut and Italian Affair Restaurant out front).


Fairfield Inn: Marriott's award winning economy hotel lodging chain features clean, convenient, quality accommodations and the peace of mind you get from Marriott consistency - all for a great value. The Fairfield Inn Philadelphia/Deptford NJ is located .9 mile from John F. Kennedy Health Systems, 2.8 miles from Camden County College, 4.6 miles from Whitman Stafford House, six miles from Sony, ten miles from downtown Philadelphia and Independence Hall and 11 miles from Camden Aquarium. This is the closest hotel to our facility.
The Hotel is less than 30 minutes from Philly International airport. To get to the hotel, take 95 south and follow the signs for the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Cross over the Walt Whitman Bridge. Stay in the middle lane while crossing the bridge. Follow signs for "Atlantic City / 42 South". Once you follow that sign, you'll automatically merge into 42 South almost immediately.
While on 42 South, look for sign that says "Woodbury/Runnemede 1 1/2 miles". Make a right onto that exit. Bear to the right at the end of the exit ramp (following sign toward Runnemede). Go through the first light (which happens to go under an overpass). At the second light, make a right onto 41 South. Fairfield Inn is about 200 yards up on your right.
Note: Its only about 5 to 10 minutes (depending on traffic) from the timeyou exit the Walt Whitman Bridge to the time you arrive at the hotel.
