Hi, Gang! Here is a mish-mosh for those who love the 10-10-10 concept in . . . , well, "10-10-10" in CTX, as well as the salad of cardio styles in Circuit Max.

Interval Max (the original) OR Rhythmic Step warm-up; then

Body Max power circuit segment OMITTING RESISTANCE CYCLES, simply by chapter-skipping or "nexting" to the next cardio cycle with your remote; OR

HSTA cardio only premix, REPEATING ONE CARDIO CYCLE of choice; THEN

Low Max step and blast #'s 2 and 7 (delish step-kickbox); THEN

KPC High Intensity Drills (select this named chapter from the Chapter Menu); THEN

Circuit Max hi/lo cardio cycles (#1 and #2), starting after the warm-up and the medium impact post-warm-up stuff; OR (here's the genius part)

Dial back to the first DVD (Interval Max etc.), select MIC and fast-forward to 18:35 minutes into the MIC workout; this takes you to the nosebleed high impact stuff.

See how that works? High-octane step (including the warm-up), step kickbox, floor kickbox and hi/lo, in an extended format.

Enjoy!

Nosebleed?....my poor heart A-Jock! I can already feel the sweat....thanks for your great mish moshes...:)

This ones makin my head spin AJ (not a hard thing to do mind you). I checked this thread out only because I thought it would be a good cardio workout to help train for my upcoming triath , but now I'm thinking the triathlon would be good training for your mish mosh workout x( }( :p .

Michelle.....WAY OFF! Actually though...if you commit to doing this just once, you can return to doing all your other cardio workouts and have a new sense of appreciation for them. Perspective is everything. ;)

Can I PLEASE respond to the dumb question:

Answer #1: No it takes about an hour, but this does not account for the yoga segment that some insane people might add in.

Answer#2: Yes it takes 45 minutes, but only if you are AJ. Those of us who are human could complete it in ohhhhhh say maybe a day and half without rests.

Answer #3: Yes and no, if you are part of the chinners, you must follow this mosh with 3 sets of chins which would push you over the 45 min mark which may or may not include warm up.

Answer #4: Maybe....it all depends on if you are a squirrel or not and if you are, then it takes 39 minutes as squirrels never warm up.

Briee (thanks for letting me step in here and clarify AJ - I have experience handling people such as Sooooooooooooosan }( )

Thanks so much for the clarification, Briee. (ROFLOL!!!!!:7 :7 :7 :7)

Another question: can the entire routine be performed on a stability ball?

Thanks Briee for the clarification! LOL! AJ, you are still trying to do us in, eh? I just might have to give this one a gooooo! Thanks for the super idea.

THANKS AJOCK!!! :):)

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!! Deb!! It was soooo much fun! It took me about an hour DH said as he kept checking on me making sure I was ok! LOL!

It went by sooo fast! I think I'm going to mix up my cardio like that more often!

I added on abs from MIS and man did I feel it after doing the kickboxing! I didn't realize how much you use your core doing that!

Off to shower now since I'm dripping sweat!!!:p

Hello, Sooooooooooooosan (as that appears to still be your real name) -

Stability ball, no. Medicine ball yes. As an added fillip, you can twirl a flaming barbell during the step-kickbox segments.

Confidential to Briee -

GOOD LUCK ON THE TRIATHLON!!!!! (Me, I'd be lucky to make it through a unathlon and I'm "childfree by choice", as Faith Popcorn likes to say.)

WHOOT WHOOT! Well, that was super-fun! I dropped all the plates though. Good thing I used paper;)

I smelled so bad when I was done that the dog tried to roll in me:+

I'll definitely be doing that one again.

Thanks again, oh Queen of the Mish-Mosh!

AJ...thanks so much for the encouragement, means a lot to me.

And yes you could make it through a triathlon....but you'd do jacks through the transitions, add intervals just for fun and then repeat it three times.   (I'm only hoping to crawl across the finish line:7 )

Hi all,

Hope you don't mind, but just bringing this mish mosh up to the front for many that may have missed it.

It's an awesome creation by Aqua-Jock, you will love how your legs feel.

I don't have a 5 disc changer, but I get them all out and quickly change them and then jog in place waiting for it to load and while I pick what to do.

Have fun!
