12 Week Challenge Check-Monday 7/3

Wow, I get to start this morning.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Well I forced myself out of bed to do a workout. Unfortunately while doing Imax2 this morning I got a pain in my knee. I was able to switch to the TM for a little while before the knee started to hurt on it too. So I end up doing some stretching. Plus to top it off my HRM was reading 0 heart beats. I may have felt dead, but I'm pretty sure my heart was still beating.LOL

For those that didn't check in this weekend, mine was full of excitement. DD got in a wreck friday night. She is doing better. Still sore and still upset that she has to wear a neck brace. We keep explaining how lucky she was not to have been injured more seriously. DH & I spent saturday looking at cars, trying to decide what we are going to do(once we found out how ins. is going to handle). She starts summer school at her college in a week and will need a car,if the doctor releases her to drive. Otherwise I'm going to have to figure out a way to commute her to her college and then go to work and then pick her up. (work and college are not the same direction from house. Oh well, hopefully we'll figure something out.

Since this challenge is drawing to a close, start throwing out ideas of what we would like to change the name too and how we want to work this challenge after the 12 weeks.

Jean, Sorry to hear about your DD's accident but you are right, THANK GOODNESS it was not more serious! Don't you hate it when a work out gets cut short like that? It's sooo annoying! Guess you'll just have to work out TWICE AS HARD tomorrow morning to make up for it!;) :p

I have my running class tonight but will still be doing cardio this morning...probably some kickboxing. The running class is only 2 mins of walking at a clip right now so it's just not enough cardio for me by itself at this point...

So who here has today off?? Anyone, anyone? :)

Jean - I am so sorry to hear about your DD -- and your transportation difficulties - I hope you get them worked out. And your pain - oh my - what a weekend. (((Hugs)))

Wendy - I am glad you are back - your trip sounds wonderful! I have today off! I have been off since Friday and go back to a hectic office this Wednesday - YEAH!!!!!

I had a house full of company from early Friday night to yesterday afternoon. We ate badly - isn't that always how it goes with me. They are gone now and GS is very irritable today. We are just going to hang out and relax!

T - CTX and S&L Chest - TJ Fat Blaster - for 45 minutes
W - CTX and S&L Bis - CC 4 on the rebounder
T - CTX and S&L Tris - Plyometrics
F - CTS and S&L Delts - CC 5 on the Rebounder
S - Firm It Up and Imax 2 Blast Only

hello ladies,

they let us out of work a little early today so, i am doing a quick post before running out the door for spin class. i had so much fun last week with the class, i decided to go back for more torture, LOL

jean-sorry to hear about dd.

Wendy- we sure missed you while you were gone. what workout did you do today?

kathy- company is nice esp. once they are gone:D .
how are you do plyometrics? do you have a dvd?

seems like everyday our little group grows even smaller:-(

Kathy, Don't sweat the weekend eating! I ate like that for a solid week and I am STILL eating like that!!! YIKES! LOL :7

Sunny, I'm thinking of going for a SPIN tomorrow myself!;) I am embarrassed to report that NO WORK OUT was done today but atleast I have my running class this evening so I'll get SOMETHING in. I just had no motivation to work out today...I popped in KPC, did about 2 mins of the warm up and turned it off...BLECH! x(

So tonight's class will consist of 4.5 minutes of walking and 3 mins of running in cycles for a total of 30 mins. It's nasty outside so this should be TONS of fun...NOT! I haven't run outside since the Monday before vacation-the first class! I hope I do okay. :eek:

Yesterday was a busy day for me. I spent the afternoon at the horse races with my mom and DS and then last night DH, DS and I went next door to our neighbors' house for a Birthday Party/BBQ for the wife. They are a wonderful couple and know how to have fun! They party it up all summer long! }( Wahoo! LOL :7

Tomorrow we will probably spend the afternoon at DH's cousin's house...he's only 10 mins away and he's got a nice set up in his backyard with a pool so I know him, his wife and the kids will be out there most of the day. Joey will love it! He's sooo fond of the water!:+

Okay...I think I need to shut up now! This is getting waaay too long!:p

Sunny D - I have the Plyometrics DVD from P90X - it is a good interval workout on the floor, I would say moderate to medium intensity!

Ooops - jsut got started and hear DH pick up in the drive way -- off to warm up supper!
