12 Week Challenge/04-24/week 1

Don't sweat it Kathy! Thats sort of what i was talking about yesterday when I mentioned going to my in-laws house.You almost feel pressured to eat stuff.I can't tell a lie at all...but my friend can, whenever she is watching her diet and people start waving food around she usually says, she just ate, or she as a bad stomach! LOL It works for her but like I said, I can't lie.

I am at work now and i was running around non stop for 2 hours and I have one more flight at 11.Then I may get to settle into the recliner and watch a little t.v. I wish i didn't have anything to do.Im so lazy all of a sudden!

Great job again today girls.When I wake up in the morning I wonder what the day is going to bring, but once I have my first meal down, I feel like I am on a roll.

Oh dear Kathy, have a talk with that man for sure! Explain you are accountable to others and you really need to be good, maybe that will prick his conscience. That's just too much temptation!

Man I need to learn to keep up to date here, you guys are on the ball with checking in and keeping in touch on this challenge!

Looks like a lot of us ate some "goodies" this weekend, but hey you've got to allow for that. It just drives you to really be good the next day.

Today I did CTX Power Circuit, for the first time! Felt good to do the whole thing as I've been a bit of a cardio whimp lately.

My meals:

1. Go Lean cereal + blueberries, gr. flaxseed, raw sunflower seeds + soy milk; 1c. grapefruit juice
2. salmon salad (low fat mayo + celery) spread over 3 multigrain crispbreads; 1c. tomato juice
3. (repeat of meal 2 to use up second half of can of salmon!)
4. 1/2 cup diced chicken breast, 1c. green & yellow string beans, 1c. tomato juice, 1 Tbsp. nat. pb
5. 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese + cinnamon; 1 Tbsp. nat. pb

Did great on my water and got in all my vitamins.

Good evening all. Home from work, settled in and now I'm tired and my wrist has a cramp and that's from scrolling down through this thread. LOL . Someone said this thread was going to get long and boy were they right. I think it is great that there is so much interest in this challenge. Does anyone have a head count as to how many of us are taking the challenge?

My eating was pretty good today. I even convinced myself to eat a serving of green beans for a snack at work. That's quite an accomplishment for me. I need to find ways to incorporate more veggies into my diet. Gayle's recipe sounds great and would add to my veggies. I'll have to try it soon. Exercise this morning was Hardcore Extreme. Hope everyone has a great evening.

12-Week Check-in

I did Cardio Kicks again this morning followed by the planks and abs from CTX Kickbox. My eating was clean according to plan, and I drank a gallon of water again. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. I am off to enjoy my bubble bath and the second segment of Total Body Stretching.
