Whoa...glad to hear your DH is okay! That must have been scary! Glad to hear the insurance will cover it too. It is kind of interesting, though, that of all things for him to hit, it was something that you can now eat. (My DD is horrified at the thought, but it makes sense to me!)
Yesterday I did
10 Minute Solution: Rapid Results Pilates Netflix has it as one of their "instant" videos that you can watch immediately on the website. So I took the laptop down to the workout room to try it out. It was pretty good, but I think I would have liked more reps on each move rather than moving quickly to new moves. It has 5 different 10 minute segments that work different areas. Last week I did
Pick Your Level: Weight Loss Pilates, and although it was shorter and probably a little easier, I liked the flow better. I still haven't found a pilates workout that I "love". How are the ones that you have? I'm trying to find something a bit more advanced than the beginner DVDs I keep finding. I like that I can try them at Netflix first...keeps me from wasting my money.
Did week 5 day 1 today. After my test the other day, I am still following the third column. It is really tough now!! 36/40/30/24/40. I had to take a bunch of breaks during some of the sets. Looking ahead, it looks like the reps change significantly later this week. Instead of doing more pushups in the earlier sets, there are fewer, and the final set has more. I guess that's to get us closer to doing one hundred in a row?
For the rest of my workout I did 4DS kickbox.
