Morning, cheetahs~

Just want to let everyone know Christine is doing well—she’s just been busy. Think she said she would try to check in today.

Wendy—Stinks this cold bug has been hangin’ on all these weeks. Hope you feel 100% again soon. As for DOMS, let’s just say I’m not feeling all that motivated right now to move much. *LOL*

Wendi—hope you had a better day than you anticipated. Today’s not OSIS, is it? ;)

Carole— *LOL* nope, not Jerry. Elaine. So, someone else reminded you of me? Hey, that’s great about the JVCs. Definitely not the same pair I bought then.

Linda—wow, a snow mix? I have not heard of the Wave. Sounds interesting. Much better name than Fanny Lifter.

Karen—Oh no. So very sorry to hear about this downturn for your mom. (((HUGS))) and prayers are with you and your family.

Jackie—yes, I am still running; just not back up to 4 days/week again. Planned to be there by now, but it’s OK. Had the knee issue last week, too, so it wasn’t just the rain. Crackin’ up about getting Wendi’s cat to share his secret. Love your humor. The 4DS premixes are my absolute fave. I have been missing them lately. Hope it stays dry for your run today—and the dogs stay home!

Dallas—if you are well into dealing with Christmas now, you’re ahead of the game in my book! Hang in there, and don’t forget to do for yourself, too. Look like 50?? No way! Posh was funnin’ ya, for sure! J You don’t look close to 39, either. An insane urge to do B&G—that’s what happens when you don’t like how your legs look in your pants that day. *LOL*

Brighton—OK, 1) You have a quote from Cool Hand Luke on your blog??? Love it. I enjoy classic movies, and that is one of my faves. 2) Very cute kidlets you’ve got there! Hope date night was fun. How’s the foot feelin’?

Gloriayou and the House of Pain inspired today's thread title. Seemed appropos. :D What was the title of the yoga book, if you don't mind sharing? We did have fun.

No workout for me last night. Too busy havin’ fun with the girls and celebrating making it to the end of the marking period. *LOL* I believe it’s expected to rain all day today (plus t’storms), so an outdoor run seems doubtful (again), so I'll be keepin' it indoors.

Have a GREAT day!

Good morning gals!

Long day yesterday hauling crap to the dump from the barn...but no riding:D:D!!! Yeah, I'd rather haul 1.5 tons (yup, that was the actually poundage:eek:) of fence boards to the dump than jump on a single beastie *lol*.

*Jumping* up to do SB/SJP step and hi/lo circuit here in a second. I need something fun today:).

Cathy - Oh, thanks, so relieved to hear that Christine's okay. I was starting to get really worried about her and Ved. Glad to hear you had fun last night...well deserved!!! I had a "productive" day yesterday so I'm quite happy with that, thank you:). Since it's really pouring here today I'm hoping to get the last run to the dump this morning and then browse Lowes and Home Depot for a new cordless drill. My battery charger on my old one died a couple of nights ago and wouldn't ya know that they don't make that model anymore:rolleyes::confused:...always the case, right? Figures, I was in the middle of a couple of projects at the barn and at home when it died so I really need to get a replacement asap. I don't mind *too* much though cuz I love shopping for "toys"....hey, mind out of gutter there;) *lol*!

Off to go jump around:p:D. Will be back afterward with personals. TTFN!

Mornin' Cheetahs!:)

Oh.My.God.

My rear end is soooo incredibly sore right now!
Gotta love it though, right?!;)

Cathy: Thanks for the well wishes. I sure hope they work soon! Glad you had fun with your co-workers y'day. I'm sure the end of a marking period comes with a great sense of accomplishment once the grades are all in. LOL, I feel your pain girl. Oh how I feel your pain. So I guess you won't be following your own words from the this morning's thread title, huh?? :D I have a run and Centergy planned (assuming I feel okay) and I think it's just what I need. It may hurt at first but I think it will help. This rainy weather is for the birds, isn't it? I want the sun to come back. The shame of it is that it's been so mild out there so if the sun would just come out we'd have some gorgeous Indian Summer weather goin' on. On the bright side, it's the perfect morning for a Target run!;)

Wendi: Sorry about the drill issues. That happened to my DH once. The charger crapped out and the drill was fine and no replacement could be found. LOL about loving to shop for toys. I'd have spit out my coffee if I were drinking it when I read that line! :D

Off to pour myself java #2. I need to get up and walk around anyway or this bootay of mine is going to REALLY tighten up!

BBIAB!

GOOD MORNING CHEETAHS!!!! :D

Dallas: I am pretty proud of myself for fitting the yoga in. I just know what works best for me. :) How fun watching the old movies! Have fun with soccer! :)

Cathy: You are the queen of thread titles...love it! :D The book is Power Yoga by Beryl Bender Birch. It is the official yoga program for the New York Road Runner's Club. Her husband was (at the time of the book's publication) a competitive marathon runner. It has a section for specific injuries and what poses would be best to alleviate them. It is my go to book. Glad you celebrated last night! :) Have a great run today!

Wendi: Enjoy jumping around today!

Today will be a run, yoga and maybe abs. Haven't done those in a while. Then I am off to mom's house to clean and take her out to dinner. Have a great Saturday Cheetahs! :)

Howdy chicas!

Workout is in the bag and boy am I feeling energized right now...wwwweeeeeeee! I did do SB/SJP Step and Hi/Lo Cardio Circuit and then tacked on SB Blast Challenge since I still had some fuel in the tank. Because I did the add-on, though, I don't have time for personals right now...sorry:eek::(! I will be back later with them, promise:).

See yas a bit later...have a great Saturday everyone!

I'm back! :)

I realized I have a few personals to catch up on from last night since I didn't do 'em with my final post of the evening....

Brighton: Ooooh, a hot date!? Where did you lovebirds go? ;) Glad you didn't feel any backlash from your work out. Hope you got the house cleaned up nicely so that you don't have to deal with it today. The weekend is actually my fave time to clean believe it or not! I must be otta my mind!

Gloria: Why don't you care about your race times? I sure care about mine! I'm not a competitive person by nature but I DO like to see myself improving in an activity or the motivation to do it will disappear. Enjoy your work out and have fun with your mom. Where will you take her for dinner?

Dallas: Enjoy soccer today! I don't really know what happened to my back. All I know is thankfully it's all better! I just woke up the other morning in pain. It was basically in the bra-strap area all the way across. Every time I would use those muscles it hurt. When I would stretch I swore I would cramp up and be stuck like that! OUCH! All better now though! I'm thinking I just slept wrong.

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...Thanks for letting us know about Christine...:)...I figured Elaine was the obvious choice for you! It is on the show The Mentalist, the lead female Teresa, played by the actress Robin Tunney. Funny as you are having rain and we are having some warm temps!

Wendy...so you never had PS? I think that might have been my 1st of Cathe weight workouts. Looks like Cathy checked with Christine and she has been busy. Sorry you are feeling crappy again. Hope it clears up soon. Glad to hear you joined some of us with the glute DOMS!

Wendi...good job with the SB/SJP premix and SB blast!

Linda...Looks like you are getting in some good runs again How are you feeling post marathon?

Gloria...Beau is doing well. Retrieved his first duck last week when DH took him hunting! He seems to be getting tall, but not really filling out. Not sure when we will get him fixed, I know you have to wait longer with males I think. I don't like to see animals in pain either. Pip will get through this quickly...:)..Good job with LM and BC. Nice of you to clean at Mom's and then take her out to dinner, Have a great time...:)

Dallas...No, Christine is not near the fires thank god. They are a ways south of her, but WOW, some huge, expensive houses have burned sadly.

Karen..I can only imagine how hard this is watching your Mom...sending {{{HUGS}}} and thoughts and prayers also.

Jackie...The training center is a separate program for the Garmin that you can download to your PC and use. Here is the link: http://www8.garmin.com/products/trainingcenter/ My legs are a bit sre from yesterday but not as bad as before. Good job with the iTrain workouts and 4DS premix.

Today I am doing some sort of EXT and upper body mish mosh and abs. Then after church is will be packing at my Mom's house. I think it will be a long day...

Have a good one...:)

Good morning cheetahs! MIA again for the last couple of days. I had a long work stretch with little sleep. Made up for it last night with a marathon 10 hour sleep session:eek::eek::eek: It's really not good at all tho to do with so little sleep for a while and then make it up in one session:( sigh... Hopefully as things settle down for me more I'll get more regular with the sleep. Yesterday DH and I hauled the trash and went shopping for the week. I haven't paid for trash pick up in at least 10 yrs or so. Much cheaper to take it to the landfill ourselves. A good option for those who live outside of city limits. Got in a nice 5 mile run yesterday and later did ASCII. This old bod was pretty exhausted last nite!!!

Well, recharged this morning but the weather is rainy and cool! Well, it's a cross training day fortunately. In a bit I'll be doing Rumble and some upper body work. Later I'll do a 40 min. EXT session.

Cathy- Thanks for the Yoga vid suggestions... I love the name Power Yoga for Athletes (LOL) so I'm gonna have to check that one out! Okay, I gotta know... which Seinfeld character were you voted to be by your ski buddies? Jerry and I watched the Bubble Boy episode last nite. That show does take absurdity to a new level! Crummy weather this weekend isn't it! Kinda puts a damper on any outdoor runs.

Gloria- No serious bites at all on my house in Az (sigh) Nothing is moving on the market at all there (or pretty much everywhere else for that matter). It is actually in Northern Az about 2 hrs n. of Phoenix in the high country so it actually does get snow now and then there. How are the new gloves working for you? I plan on a serious shopping trip soon for my marathon... it's gonna be a cold one and I need some good warm gear!

Wendy- Glad to hear you gave yourself a true and total rest day yest. Should have recharged ya! That BMF of yours is a tad on the flaky side I'd say. I remember you going thru the ringer with him last year over his lack of commitment to friends. It's a good plan you have to just resign yourself to not really count on him for anything and not let it bother you when things fall thru. Great job on B&G yest with the weighted vest too and how nice to be "rewarded" with those booty DOMS!

Wendi- Light colored rugs and carpets aren't a great idea for pet owners (LOL) I love my kitties but they all do have that tendency to puke now and then I'm afraid! How is your kitty today? He sounds like a big one too altho Rio isn't fat .. he is just BIG! With this storm front and wet weather I'm thinking it will mean a lighter work day for you... is that the case?

Linda- Sounds like you've bounced right back and have recovred well after your marathon! What is the Dove workout anyway?

Karen- May God be with you and give you strength... for you and your dear Mother in the coming days. Bless you dear Karen for being there for her. Having seen people deal with issues like your Mom's frequently in my work I can't stress enough what a tremendous difference it makes for her to have YOU!!! It may not be apparent but you provide a vital comfort to her and I pray you can continue and keep up your spirits for yourself and your little ones.

Jackie- How is the weather down in your area? Gonna be able to get in that long run? I love the 4Ds premixes... do them much more then the workouts themselves!

Brighton- Able to work out again? YAY... that must be feeling so good for you now! Hey, you need a cheetah nickname? Maybe swimming cheetah or something along those lines? I think you are our only cheetah accomplished at swimming.

Dallas- You'll be 39?? Holey Moley, you could easily pass for 10 yrs younger then that!!! Indoor soccer eh? Definitely smart to be INDOORs this weekend!

Carole- Sounds like a busy day for you. Hope the packing goes well for you. I've had enough packing and unpacking to last me thru the next lifetime personally!!!! Hey, thanks for providing that Garmin Training center link to Jackie- I'd forgotten about that and may make some use out of it.

Christine- Hope all is well!

Morning Girls!

Just about to start my workout. It will a short one...I think I'm *trying* to catch a cold. I'll do some sort of cardio, abs and stretch.

Carole ~ Oh glad you Cali girls are all safe! Good luck packing and moving today. You do have a long day ahead of you.

Wendy ~ Glad the back is ok! Back pain is never fun. Occasionally, I get sciatica...OUCH! How are those legs feeling...was the courtesy of B&G? LOL

Wendi ~ Glad you had a "full" tank. Mine is been teetering between half and empty. Have a great day at work! :)

Gloria ~ Enjoy your day with your mom. Yep, yoga and ice are wonderful. ;)

Cathy ~ Too funny about the B&G and pants. :D IA, I'd rather keep wearing shorts. I always hate the transition from shorts to jeans myself. Oh, how sweet...thanks for the compliment. (((HUGS))) :) It's only a number, right? I know Carole and Shelly have said it, but I have to say...I feel better now then I did in my 20's. :) Thanks for letting us know Christine is ok. Sounds like you girls really whooped it up last night. :) Enjoy your indoor run today.

Hi to the rest of the Cheetahs!

Good Morning Cheetahs –

Cathy – Thank you for letting everyone know I’m okay! Enjoy (?) your indoor run. How’s the 5 day on/2 off working out? I’m kind of following something similar myself. :D

Wendi – 1.5 pounds of crap, eh? Sorry to make everyone worry. We’re fine. Have fun shopping for a cordless drill! That sucks that the charger is no longer made. I wish they would make things so chargers are more universal! I love the SJP/SB Cardio combo! Glad you enjoyed it!

Wendy – Too fun about the rear – hurts sooo good! :p I hope you’re feeling better soon!

Gloria – Good job with the yoga – I love it, but it’s so tough to get in (and I have so little patience to move slowly sometimes!). Oh have fun with your mom today!

Carole – sorry about worrying y’all! That’s not nice. Oh wow! Beau is retrieving ducks already? He’s not that old, is he? I recommend waiting until after 9 months to get him fixed – it’s actually more of a thing of getting the hormones that those organs provide than anything. It makes for a more sound dog – and as a hunting dog, that’s good. Jimmy was 9 months and I actually wish I could have waited a full year.

Shelly – I’m joining you in the MIA Cheetah thing. 10 hours of sleep for you? You must have been exhausted! Yeah, all is well, just swamped. It’s been a crazy week. Thanks for thinking of us.

Dallas – I hope you manage to avoid that cold. There’s something going around where you kind of feel sick, but never really get truly sick. It’s weird.

Karen – your mom is in my prayers, as are you and the rest of your family. I’m so sorry to hear that!

Linda – sounds like you’ve been enjoying your weights! Next week is Cathe? Yes, DH and I are fine. I was just busy. Sorry to worry everyone!

Sorry I’ve in missing. I’ve just had so much going on that I did not have time to check in. I was handed another 90 accounts at work, and most of those have issues as no one has contacted them in 6 months, so it’s been a challenge! Sorry about that. I have been working out. I did the first three combos of ASC 3 and a shortened version of Judy’s SS/PP UB Blast. That was fun. ASC3 IS easier than ASC 2, but it’s still fun. Thursday was the KPC/L&G circuit. I really enjoy that one, too. Today is a hike or ride depending on what DH wants to do. Then grocery shopping and the typical Saturday stuff. DH and I went to a really nice Italian restaurant right down the road from us last night. I didn’t even know it was there, but the food was good. I hope everyone has a great day – I did miss my Cheetah Babes!!

Back from the doc's....

It's about time, right? :p I got myself an antibiotic and some cough syrup so I should be healthy as a horse real soon! :D

Ended up skippin' the Centergy class and the run but I'm considering doing CTX UB split this afternoon if I feel up to it. Technically it's due to be done tmrw but I'm changin' things around a bit for the last few days of this rotation. If I do UB today then I will run tmrw and finish out the rotation on monday with lower body floor work and abs. We'll see how it works out.

I plan on doing Fitness Freak's 2007 Get ready for summer rotation next. I was originally going to do the 2008 version with 4DS in it but I've used that series alot lately so I wanted something different....

Christine: So glad everything is A-okay. You can imagine why my thoughts immediately went to your DH when you weren't around for a few days. Phew. Glad I was wrong! :)

Dallas: LMAO at "trying" to catch a cold! I actually do that myself quite often. :p Too funny! :) Yup, sore bum is most certainly credited to B&G!!! I think the vest put me over the edge though! I'll bet it wouldn't hurt so bad if I hadn't used it. My thighs hurt too. It just a little longer for me to realize it! LOL Back pain was a bit scarey at first as I wondered if there was a connection to my lungs because of my cough! Glad it went away quickly. Doc said my lungs are clear so YAY! :)

Shelly: Okay so trying to catch up on missed sleep all in one night is not the BEST way to get your rest but hey...sometimes these things happen, right? Atleast you got some sleep finally! Hopefully your habits will get back to normal soon. (((hugs))) Yeah, I'm all about lettin' it roll of my back with BMF from now on. The B portion of BMF has got to go too actually as he's hardly been livin' up to the name! He's officially been down-graded to just plain old MF now. :p

Carole: Nope, no PS for me yet. I started doing Cathe's weights work using the Body Blast and Intensity series and although I bought older stuff of hers, PS never caught my interest until now. My glute DOMS is RAGING right now. Glad yours is beginning to dissapate. :)

Hi Cheetahs!

Wendy - Your body is just not cooperating with you the last few days. Hope you're feeling 100% better. Yay for the DOMS!! Just what you wanted! :D

Dallas - Nice of you to help your MIL with her shopping. Hope all is well with DS legs. What do the kids think about seeing themselves on video? Any AFV moments on them? :D Hope that cold stays away.

Brighton - That's great that the foot is doing well. How was the hot date?

Gloria - Good job with your workout yesterday. Sounds like it was just right. Enjoy your run and yoga.

Cathy - Thanks for the update on Christine. We missed the dog this morning until the very end. She saw us heading home and she just had to join us. She walked me home. Glad you had fun with the girls last night.

Wendi - Ok, picturing you here as part of the crew for Extreme Makeover Home. Hope you find that drill. Good job with the workout!

Carole - Are you still trying to run with Beau? Thanks for the link. I'll get that downloaded. Enjoy your workout! Hope you get lots done at your mom's house.

Shelly - Glad you got in a good night's sleep. I'm so envious. I live outside of the city limits and I still have to haul my garbage to dumpsters just down the road for me. And, it's not free. We had the opportunity to have door to door service but a few people showed up at the meeting and said they didn't want it. Can you believe it? If I have to pay for the use of the dumpsters, I sure as heck would pay for them to pick it up. Have fun with Rumble, the EXT and UB work.

Christine - Glad all is well with you. Another 90 accounts sounds like a big work load to me. Know you will tackle them and get them in shape. Good job getting the workouts in. Glad you had a nice dinner. Enjoy your hike or bike ride today.

We did get in 10.25 miles this morning before the rain. I had to wait until RP could get his family on the road. We didn't get out until almost 9:00. One of his little ones was sick and the wife was taking him to the doctor. It was cold, cloudy and windy. Thought the wind would blow me over a few times. RP made me run 2 miles of steep hills at the end. I kept up with him pretty well. Even with the hills we still kept a 10:00 minute pace. Right now my hamstrings are screaming and I'm thinking the legs will be really sore tomorrow. I've been trying to eat a little something about 2 hours before we go out but it hasn't been agreeing me. We had to slow down a bit because my tummy started cramping a little. I would prefer going on an empty stomach but I'm afraid I would run out of energy. Anyway we made it through. We both feel good about the race coming up

Going to take a nice hot bath and soak my legs. Enjoy your day!

No work out for me today. I thought a nap would re-charge me but it really hasn't. Oh well. I guess even the most stubborn of Catheite's have to listen to their body once in a while, right? :p

Jackie: Sorry about the tummy issues this morning. Nice job keeping the pace on the hills though! Oh I definately need food in my belly before a run. An empty stomach doesn't cut it for me. Funny how different that preference can be from one person to another. I ate an apple on the way to the gym that one early morning that I ran. It was enough to get me through the 30 mins of intervals I did but any longer and my gas tank would have plummetted BELOW "e". LOL Hope your RP's child feels better soon! :)

Wendi—good to hear it was a happy and productive day for you. Hope you “get lucky” at Home Depot or Lowe’s. ;) *LOL*

Wendy--*LOL* Wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a feeling of great accomplishment—just relief. And we’ll take it! Our department, in particular, is under some pressure these days, so an evening of good grub & laughs felt good. Nope, not a big jumper here—these knees of mine have their limits. J Hope you had fun @ Target. Didn’t realize you were going to the doc. What is it that you have?

Gloria—thanks for the book information. Looked it up on Amazon. Looks really familiar. I think I might have had that one at one time. Enjoy your workout and dinner later. Know that will mean a lot to your mom. Thought it was cool to read you aren’t concerned with race times.

Carole—Re: Elaine…hope it wasn’t because of my driving or dancing skills. *LOL* I don’t know the show The Mentalist. Will have to google it. Congrats to Beau on his first duck! J Hope you get a lot done with the packing. That will surely be a workout in itself.

Shelly—nice to see you, busy cheetah! The erratic sleep patterns do take a toll. Hope you can get that righted again…They decided I was Elaine. :D It was down to either Elaine or Jerry because we had already determined who was crazy enough to be Kramer and George. *LOL*

Dallas—ut oh—hope you can ward off that cold. That is great that you feel better than you did in your 20s. Must be a testament to what a healthy lifestyle can do for us.

Christine—*tee hee* about enjoying (?) the run. I wound up on the EXT. The ‘mill just had no appeal today. The five day routine is working much better for the time being. You are missed when you don’t post, but the busy factor is understood. I know between your work challenges and Ved’s recent situation, you’ve had a lot on your plate!!

Jackie—didn't make sense for them not to go for the door-to-door service when you’re paying, anyway. Though I knew it was the case in many places overseas, I was surprised when my sister moved to PA and had to pay for trash removal. But I’m from Jersey—we don’t even pump our own gas. J Awesome run in the cold & windy conditions. RP is quite the coach! Hope the tummy is better and you enjoyed that leg soak.

*waves* to Posh!
th_daisy02.gif

Enjoyed BM2 weights and a sweaty EXT session. Now off to get ready for a night out.

Hi again!

We ended up having three soccer games. At least, they were all back-to-back! DD was worried about having a mixed team w/boys, but I think she held up nicely with them. :) Boy, do they move fast though. It was cute (I can say cute now. ;))while watching DS's games there was a group of boys checking out our group of girls. Oh dear not ready for that!!! This facility just opened it was so nice, clean..and close! :) It was even better not having to use port-a-potties. ;)

*Lol'd* when I realized I wrote "hearty" instead of "hardy" y-day. :D You know what I meant, right? :) I was still able to edit it. :)Guess I can't type and watch TV at the same time. :p

I ended up doing the EXT for 30, abs for 15, and a short stretch. I know, not much, but I needed to sleep in this morn.

Wendy ~ Glad you're listening to your body. There's some icky stuff going around. A vest!!! You crazy girl...I'll need to try that sometime. ;) Feel better. I feel ok right now. I took some Shaklee Defend and Resist. That stuff seems to help.

Jackie ~ Nice run this morn!!! Hope your tummy troubles went away. Way to tackle those hills! :) Re: DS - A friend mentioned a Charlie Horse...I never thought about that. I know those can be painful. He may need more potassium. YES!!! There were several AFV moments. :) Fun times!

Christine ~ Sorry about the increased work load. :( However, it sounds like you're getting in some great workouts! So, you like ASC3? I need to give that one a go soon. How was your hike/ride today?

Shelly ~ I love you guys!!! Thanks re: the age!!!! :D Hope you get the sleep thing regulated. I don't know how you do it. I was up w/DS the other night and I was a complete zombie. I wonder how I got through those baby days???? You're getting in some great workouts lately despite being tired. Yeah, our indoor session started today. Ahhh, I think I should become a hockey mom. I like this indoor stuff esp when it's cold. ;) enjoy your workouts.

Elaine er Cathy ;)~ Enjoy your night out! IA about the healthy lifestyle. Wish I knew then, what I know now in regards to nutrition, exercise, etc. :) I have to get back to running too. However, it's too cold to run outside...need to get over that, and the treadmill does not seem appealing to me either. Of course, I was giving the hip some extra TLC too. What are you doing tonight?

Well, we have a surprise 40th...guess we'll be having a lot of those the next couple of years. :) I have to go figure out what to wear.

Have a wonderful evening. :)

Hi Cheetahs!

Wendi: I have seen SJP on Fit tv and thought it looked like a fun workout. Hope you had a nice Saturday!:)

Wendy: Glad you are getting some rest. I used to care about race times more than I do now. In Dec. 2005 I thought I injured my hammie. Well, kept running when the pain didn't flare up to an excrutiating level and finally went to the doctor in May of 2006. If you remember, I get scared about going to the doctor. Bad choice, I know. Found out I had a stress fracture in my pelvis. I was given the go ahead to do the bike, elliptical and weights. I could not run from May through November. Running is a passion of mine for many reasons. Most importantly being able to think situations through and problem solve. It was a hard time for me not being able to do it. It is not the same on the elliptical or bike, at least for me. Also, I already have mild arthritis in my hip due to the way I was born and the way my hips move. The orthopedist found this out when he was looking at my x-rays. It doesn't effect me now, but it will. You better believe that when it comes time for a hip replacement I am all for it, scared of the doctor or not. For those reasons, I don't care about times any more. I am just thankful that I can run pain free. Long winded, but there is my answer! :) Took mom to a family restaurant in our home town that she suggested and it was suprisingly good! :)

Carole: YEAH for Beau! Labs are sharp critters! Pip is going to be big. She is almost as tall as Ellie and has really big paws. She is such a lover! I just hate the cone and making sure they don't mess with the incision. We will be getting her back the same day. How did it go packing? I had a nice time with mom. There were a couple boxes of things that I had in high school up stairs. I saved every note that was ever passed to me! LOL! It was quite embarrasing to read them! Hope you had a nice day. :)

Shelly: I have been to northern AZ, it is beautiful. I forgot the name of the town we drove to though. I have not used the gloves for running yet. I actually forgot them at school since I wore them on Thursday for recess duty. I just want to vent and say recess duty in the winter really bites! There, done! :) Really hoping things will turn around in the housing market. Have you checked out those CW-X tights? Someone on the OD posted about them and they are pricey, but seem to be really good. I am holding out right now, as they are about $100. I have to take in the garbage too. It is a pain. Awesome workouts! :)

Dallas: I am trying to get out of my cold weather weenie attitude too. LOL! I am thinking I will need some goggles when the snow starts really flying. It stings my eyes! Sounds like fun at the soccer game! I think you did a great workout! :) Have a blast at the party!

Christine: I have to admit that I was very worried about you! Glad things are going well. Yikes on the workload! No wonder you have been absent! It is really good to have you back. :)

Jackie: I am one who can't eat before a workout. I get really bad cramps. That is one of the reasons I have trouble working out in the afternoon. Great run today! Is your new RP good conversation?

Cathy: My mom did actually say that she is really enjoying me coming down every week. :) I feel bad for being gone for a while. I then remind myself that every day is a new day. Cliche', I know. The book is a good one. I do not recommend the Power Yoga for Runners dvd that she and her husband are selling. The production is beyond poor and it moves way to fast for me. Andy's BF does yoga for an hour 6 days a week. He doesn't even use a dvd, just the practice from the book. He is a day trader, so he can pretty much write his own schedule. Pretty neat.

Today I did a 4 mile run on lead legs. It was a toughie! I added on 20 minutes of yoga from my Rodney Yee Power Yoga DVD. Skipped the abs. Had a nice time with mom. I think I will build a fire and relax for the rest of the evening. Today is opening day of firearm deer season and DH is hanging with the dudes somewhere. Fine by me! Have a nice evening Cheetahs!:)

Good evening ladies!

Golly, where are the days going lately:eek:? Loved having another non-riding day but there's still plenty of busy-work around that has to get done....repairs, clean-up, yada yada yada. I was able to take another 1/2 ton of wood and crap to the dump just before the downpours started...probably have two more loads left and then it's aaaaaalllllllll goooooonnnnne:).

Karen - If you're reading this please know that your mom, you and all your family are in my prayers. {{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} love.

Wendy - Oooooh, those must be some seriously raging DOMS:eek:! Yeah, it *is* too bad that we haven't been able to fully enjoy these nice temps...especially since it's the last we'll see of the mild weather:confused:. Decided to try to head off the discontinued-parts issue and got a really, really good *toy*...powerful little thing;)! Hope the meds do the trick for ya and you're 100% real soon!

Gloria - It was your wanting to jump around the other day that provided the inspiration for this am's workout...thank you! Wow, I had no idea that you had had such a serious injury:eek:. I would say you've made a remarkable recovery! Glad mom is enjoying your visits:). Great job on your lead-legged run today...those are always TOUGH! Mmmmm, can't imagine a better evening than being curled up by a nice fire...enjoy!

Carole - I, too, had worried that Christine may have been affected by the fires...soooo glad that's not the case! Wow, unbelievable pics coming from out there. I thought you guys were getting some decent rain lately? I hope the packing went well today...sending packing {{{{VIBES}}}}.

Shelly - Great to see you around the den! Uggghh, so, so sorry that you've had a rough stretch lately. Glad to hear that you were able to get some quality zzzz's and hope that there's more where that came from. *LOL* I don't get why Nick *has* to aim for the rugs...there's plenty of hardwood floors and tile at his disposal:confused:. He IS a big cat, but he also holds onto some fat...his brother is 19lbs and sis is 17 (my mom has them) so it's definitely in the genetics. He isn't all that much better...has nibbled at food but nothing substantial. Bloodwork was virtually normal which, in some ways, is a bit of a relief cuz we've suspected hypothyroidism and/or diabetes and that all came back great. No results on fecal and urine yet. I'll be dropping him off for films on Monday morning...we'll see *shrugs*.

Dallas - Hope you're able to ward off that cold!!! I also hope you're able to fully re-fuel soon...I was in the same boat a couple of days ago and it was just not nice:(. You're smart for getting in the extra sleep this morning. You're too funny...time flies doesn't it and the little ones grow up soooo fast. Have fun tonight! Oh, thank you soooo much for the coupon offer but I think I have to stay with the two dresses I currently have. I just can't really justify spending that much on a dress that I'll probably only wear once...told ya I'm a cheapy!

Christine - Uggghhh, so sorry about the mega-increase in your work load:(. Uh, so do you get a pay increase to match? You've been gettin in some fantastic workouts...kudos! ITA about the universal charger thing...what a rackett:mad:! Our three dump runs now total 1.75 *tons*...that's almost hard to fathom. TG for Cathe, right?

Jackie - Wow, tough conditions for a run and you ROCKED IT! Awesome job!!! Your RP is a slave driver, huh? I'm sure your nice hot bath felt heavenly! I'm with you and can't eat within three hours of a run. OMG, you're too funny:p. I actually am quite handy and laugh that I should try a career as a handy-woman. Had to LOL about "Nick's secret":). I actually have to credit it to changing his food about a year and a half ago...the new stuff is higher *lean* protein, lower carbs, lower fat. Geeee, sounds familiar, eh;)?

Cathy - Well, thank you, I certainly did "get lucky" at HD and got me a very powerful and discreet little unit;)...okay, I'll stop now, promise:p! Actually, it was a really good score. Great workout today...you've been hitting BM2 a lot lately. Hope you have a fab night out!

Well, that's it for me. Gonna hit the hay (oh shoot, have to call for hay tomorrow...forgot today:eek:). I *think* am's workout is going to be some sort of kickbox. I'll have to see what floats my boat in the morning. Saving my run for Mon when I have a little more time. Have a great night ladies!
