    Tuck jumps/power jacks???

Is it the springs in the floor or in their shoes?!? Tuck jumps I think are harder because you have to hoist up those heavy legs way up. I start out jumping high, but it gets so hard towards the end of the interval. By the time the last one comes around, I think I'm just slapping my thighs! I...

    Fess Up -- Who Tans??

Let's face it, all UV rays are harmful for the skin. So there is no way I would ever go to a tanning salon. I get burnt just being out in the sun for 15 minutes! I'm very fair (which sucks) and can't get a tan if I tried! x( SPF 1 million for me!

What type of flooring do you use for your Cathe workouts?

RE: What type of flooring do you use for your Cathe wor... I was also curious about the puzzle mats on carpet. Knowing that they slip and slide, it's a good thing I haven't purchased any yet. I 've noticed too that all the pivoting in Kick Max is really difficult on carpet. Has anyone ever...

Barbell Used in Intensity Series and Hardcore

I personally have the Troy lite 40lb set an have no complaints, but I've also heard great reviews on the US weight 55lb set at Walmart for just under $20. They are just about the same in quality, it's just the price that's different. Wish I knew about it before I bought mine! O-well. I believe...

I am 31 years old, but physically look like a teenager! I can't belive I still get carded! Anyways, I have been working out consistantly for 5 years. I discovered Cathe about a year ago on FitTV but thought her workouts were too hard for me at the time. I gradually pumped my way up doing more...

    Anyone own a Spin bike?

I was thinking of investing in a Spin bike so I wouldn't have to go to the gym all the time. I was just wondering if anyone can give me advice on which brand to get, as well as, the cost because I know they can get a little pricey for the higher end bikes. Thanks for your help. Brenda

    Yoga?

Hi Sandy, Unfortunately, I don't think the instructor Steve Ross has any videos out. But if you're ever in the L.A. area, he teaches classes. I've never gone to one personally, but I've heard he is awesome and you may even spot a celebrity or two! Here's his website...

    Yoga?

I actually started doing yoga before I discovered Cathe's workouts. I still incorporate it on my lite or off days. There's a great power yoga program on the Oxygen network called Inhale that I do. It's very upbeat and not boring like the one on FitTV. It'll make you sweat!

    Whats this move called?

I remember this in my yoga class as well. We incorporated a v-sit before this lotus pose, and I have to tell you that you've really have to engage your abs or else you'll just collapse. I have short arms too so I brace myself on my fingers with my palms up like they do in the pic to give just...

    Knee problems?

Hi Lisa, I'd advise you to see a doctor first and foremost. Your knee problem seems very painful. Here are some exercises that may be of help. -Ride a stationary bike on medium tension for 10-15 minutes to warm up the legs. Also, this is an excellent way to strengthen the thigh muscles...

    Knee problems?

I had a knee injury about three years ago. I had an MRI and it revealed a partially torn ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament). Of course my doctor immediately recommended surgery. I was reluctant though. He also recommended I get physical therapy before the surgery to strengthen the muscles...
