    post-delivery belly

My 31 inch post partum waist... (m) I had a spongy spare tire even up til getting pregnant again with Anjali (I blame several factors - one being my lack of good eating habits, as I had prior to being a mom.. the other being my lack of good exercise habits as I had prior to being a mom. I also...

ANOTHER WEEK DOWN - PREG CHEK-IN

Feeling pretty well. Kalina has dropped, so I can breathe and eat again ! I'm still not gaining much weight. My ultrasound 1.5 wks ago showed that she is on the small side (and probably won't even by 7 lbs at birth). No big surprise though. She is half indian (my half) and my sibs and I were...

    PREGNANCY CHECK-IN

About ultrasounds.. I've had 6... I had a miscarriage in July, and 2 chemical pregnancies prior to that (after not having any problems with my first pregnancy - either in conceiving or carrying). So this time they did one at 5 wks and 8 wks to check the sac/hb. Then they did one at 13 wks...

    PREGNANCY CHECK-IN

Congrats to you all - here's my update Only doing yoga these days. My hip really hurts (left side). I spend a lot of energy playing with my very active and sweet 2.5 yo daughter. The rest of the time is either spent sleeping, or working (I am a full time software engineer). I haven't gained...

When was YOUR first sign of fatigue/exhaustion?

For me, it was around 6 weeks. It peaked at 9 weeks and then got much better. I don't know if it is possible to feel it the next day - I would tend to doubt it - but... what do I know :-) GOOD LUCK!!!

    Calling all pregnant ladies!

Hi! We are due a day apart! I am 8/31. I'm expecting to go early though - it runs in the family. Mom had hers at 33 wks (42 yrs ago!), 36 wks, 37 wks. I had Anjali at 36 wks. My sister had her baby at 37 wks. (We also have super-speedy-can't make it to the hospital in time labors!) I've been...

    Kyle is Born!

Congrats - and i'm sorry he's not home with you (m) I had a super fast lbor/delivery at 36 wks, and my daughter didn't come home for 3 weeks (pneumonia). It is hard... pumping instead of really nursing when nursing is needed... but you are doing great!! Hang in there! Leela

    Relaxin & Soreness

Yes. My second time is much more achey than my first - (m) And my ob said it is because your body doesn't really completely 'knit' back the way it was before having children. Plus - there is the added stress (in my case) of carrying my toddler (she is at a mom-velcro stage :-) )

    1st trimester fitness blues

Fatigue is a drag in that first trimester. I found weeks 7-10 to be really hard (m) And it was even harder to cope with my active 2yo (she's terrific -but I had no energy!) I just wanted to sleep at work, at home.. listen to your body and be forgiving of yourself. You may (as many of us did)...

    Avoid squats in mid-later pregnancy?

Squats are great! My bradley class had us do them as 'homework' (non weighted), and I gave birth in one! It is a great birthing position! Leela
