    Period while breastfeeding?

I had the same thing happen to me. I was nursing on demand, which was every two hours and then she would make it four to six hours at night and I started my period at 6 weeks post partum and have been every four weeks every since. I hope that you are luckier and have a little bit longer break!

    Eating clean

I did really well with it. I probably still ate more processed foods than I should but I always tried to make heathy choices. I was really good with fruit, but only got in one or two veggie servings. I had time then to make egg whites for breakfast and lunch was probably always a struggle...

    Eating clean

She just turned 7 months old and she is the first! It has gotten a little easier to cook with her recently, but I just feel bad since I already leave her to work all day. Maybe I could try juicing, so if there is a fruit in the mix it tastes pretty good.

    Eating clean

How do you eat clean, when you have an infant wanting/needing your attention? I find myself eating what is easy instead of what is not processed and healthier? I know I should eat fruits and veggies and grilled chicken and fish, but sometimes hamburger helper (I know it is horrible) is so much...

    Nursing questions

My little one is now 6 1/2 months old and I feel EXTREMELY hungry all the time. Like cannot eat enough to get full ever. Is this normal? I haven't gained from eating like a horse, but I still want to loose about 4-5 pounds (I am already down to 6 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight) and...

    drop in milk supply!

Good for you, for being able to get back into a routine and strict healthy eating so quickly. I am sorry I don't have a ton of help for you, because I did start exercising really hard at 6 weeks post-partum, but I wasn't very strict on my diet until about 5 months post-partum. At 6 weeks I...

Why do people have more than 2 kids?

I think the wonderful changes that a child brings to your life you cannot truly understand until you have one of your own. It is like nothing else in this world. I have always known I wanted children and at least two, and my husband wasn't real sure about becoming a parent or having more than...

NEED HELP WITH A ROTATION . . GAINING TOO MUCH!!

I had the exact same scenario. Weighted 135 to start and had gained ten by 12 weeks. I gained on the high side the entire pregnancy despite working out 4-5 times a week, weights and cardio. All I can say is the baby is totally worth it! And I have lost all but two pounds as of 15 weeks post...

    Post Partum Check-in 5/1/06

Kristi - that is awesome that you are down 1.5 pounds. I am just now at that stubborn last 10 mark. Did you change your diet at all to make progress on the last 10? Or is it all coming off due to the increased running mileage? I don't know if I can make it 7 miles! Your too good! Julie -...

    Nursing and dieting

I am still nursing my 3 month old. Planning on nursing until at least 6 months. How much dieting is it safe for me to do? I really want to get rid of the baby weight, but don't want to hurt the baby's milk supply. I am trying to fit in about a 45 minute workout a day and I am making good...

    Post partum check-in April 15th

Would you guys mind if I join in? My little one is 12 weeks old today! I was put on bedrest for 5 1/2 weeks before she arrived, so I put on a little extra weight from being stuck in the house bored and unable to work out. I have been back to work for a week and I am struggling to fit it all...

    Help with workouts

Congrats on the pregnancy!! I can't help with the toddler, since we just had our first. But I did run up until 30 weeks, when I was put on bed rest for my blood pressure. Now I ran progressively slower each week and not as far either. But they did say I probably would have had more of a...

    Getting it all in

    I have a question

I was told all along to expect a rather large baby. That she was measuring in the 95th percentile and she ended up coming on her own at 38 weeks and was a perfect 7pounds and 1 ounce. Not sure about the fluid question, but I thought that may give you some reassurance you may still have a 7...
