    Mckmain & other chiropractice fans

SI joint issues can make one leg look longer than the other, even though they are not. What I have is SI joint issues, which could be what she is talking about with the pelvic issue. It was interesting that when looking at my x-ray, the chiropractor pointed out an area that looked like an old...

    Do Cathe's workouts burn fat?

    >I'm wondering because when I do the step aerobic based >workouts, my heart rate goes above, what I gather is, my >optimal fat burning zone. Does this mean I will be burning >calories, but not from body fat? I'm confused! :-( Yes, think of it as calories in calories out. And it has...

Have you seen this? Bush taking blame.

Michele, the Times-Picayune has been interesting reading, and has definately done its share of slamming the President, but also the Gov, and the Mayor. Now it is telling stories of the nightmare of getting funds from FEMA and insurance monies if you are one of the middle class. Interesting...

    >I think the govenor of Louisiana needs to take alot of blame. >Why wasn't that government working harder to get people >evacuated before the hurricane hit? I think the mayor and >governor could have done more. \ Actually in todays Times-Picayune she also accepted blame, finally. She has...

can my HR monitor be right?

It is interesting that the above formula, (220-resting HR) * .75 + resting HR gave me the same number as 220-age. I was told resting heart rate has nothing to do with maximum heartrate. The best way to know maximum heart rate is to test it. There are various sites on the web that give...

Yes, Elaine, I most certainly agree with you there, this bipartisan "you know what" needs to stop and we need to help these people. And yes, the right will lay in wait and pounce when the shoe is turned, and it is ridiculous.

    Katrina timeline

Isn't the train station 1 block from the dome? Why didn't the plan train the people out? There is so much that was done before that does not make sense. Elaine, if you want us to look at the facts, don't post an obviously slanted website, post something that is a little less biased. There...

    Katrina timeline

I think a lot of people read these websites that are slanted either way, or read a newspaper article or watch a show, and don't realize there is a slant on it. Each side is desparately trying to spin, and what good does it do the people in New Orleansor Gulf Coast? An investigation afterwards...

    Katrina timeline

Actually the variety and flavors of timelines are quite amazing. At the end of the first link provided by Carol, it sums it up pretty well, across the board there were major problems, and let's hope across the board the government cleans up their act before the next disaster be it manmade of...

Then they don't mention that the infamous Fema memo is actually a follow up memo for MORE people in addition to the ones already deployed. If anyone saw the Govs live newsconference yesterday, I think it would show where a lot of focus should be. She clearly is not on the same page as the mayor.

    Why rebuild New Orleans?

At this point I don't think they know how they are going to rebuild, they are still doing recovery. I would hope part of the plan would be improvement on it. Ironically, the levee system that protects the city is responsible for removing the marsh protection from hurricanes. The...

    Is this for real?

It does seem like the violent conditions have improved somewhat, and they are able to get into areas they could not before, so hopefully he will be OK. I think that the mental anquish will be hard to deal with though. He will probably need your support dealing with that.
