    Allison! (crazystpr)

We're about 25 miles away and I keep trying to talk DH into going to see the tree. I may just have to go myself if he doesn't get on board soon.:)

Do you think this is unethical?

My DH is an attorney and NEVER lets anyone he doesn't currently work with pay for anything. There is just too much risk involved. He is currently an in-house attorney but he still has several friends from when he worked in firms. If any of his friends were to pay and then happen to mention it to...

    O/T Rant!

I've noticed over the past few years that it seems like kids don't have bedtimes anymore(at least the ones I've lived around.) When I was growing up I had a bedtime until I was in high school. In high school, I could go to bed whenever I wanted but I certainly still had a curfew. My cousin's...

    Cathe DVDs on ebay?

I agree with all of the tips April mentioned. One other thing I look at is the shipping cost. It should NOT cost anyone(shipping between the contiguous 48 states) $8.00 to ship one DVD. A lot of these bootleg DVD auctions have an incredibly low starting bid(.99)but their flat shipping cost is...

    What would you do?--Wedding Etiquette

Thank you to everyone that replied. DH and I have decided to just make the assumption that someone at the store must have screwed up and given us a refund instead of giving them a store credit(or maybe did both...either way...someone unintentionally messed up.) The groom in this scenario is...

    What would you do?--Wedding Etiquette

I'm not overly mad about the thank-you card. I mean, I certainly think it's rude but it doesn't bother me that much. I'm more angry about the card in connection to the gift. As in, they returned my gift so they think they don't owe me the card acknowledging my effort. And, no, I don't mind...

    What would you do?--Wedding Etiquette

A colleague of my husband got married close to two months ago. He and my husband work together but are also fairly good friends outside of work. His wife is Brazilian and the wedding took place in Brazil. Obviously, between the airline tickets, visa, hotel, meals, etc., it was a fairly expensive...

    so....whatcha doin' tonight???

    >Hubby is also watching "The Departed" on HBO which we have >seen a few times. He claims he hasn't seen it...rolls >eyes... LOL,Tammy....DH made me turn something else off. My claims of, "we've already seen that," fell on deaf ears.:)

    so....whatcha doin' tonight???

Hubby is watching "The Departed" on HBO. I'm not a big fan of re-watching movies(even though I did really like The Departed) so I thought I'd hop on the computer and see what was going on.:)

    VERY O/T RANT - resumes

    >> >One resume I received stated "Assisted principle paralegal". Well, with this one I think there was just confusion over principal and principle. Not a proof-reading error, just a lack of knowledge about the correct definition. Not that it makes it any better... >"OBJECTIVE: Seeking...

    A confession ... and a question

As I said, I'm not bothered by people not 'liking' Cathe or her workouts. To each his/her own. I also have no problem with someone criticizing Cathe or her workouts. However, in this case people are criticizing SPECULATION. I think people have been using this thread to express their...

    A confession ... and a question

I'm a member there and I'll tell you what surprises me. I have NO problem with people not liking any workout(including Cathe) and I think VF is great because people can give honest reviews of workouts, both good and bad. What I don't understand is why some people seem like they are just LOOKING...

Should kids be forced to take Piano lessons?

For those planning to get married

Well...I'm already married but I'll tell you what happened with me. My husband helped A LOT and I REALLY wish he HADN'T. The big decisions were fine to make as a couple, ie., where to have the reception, etc. but I really could have done without all the input on the invitations, gift registry...

    Sorry..Yet another BCP questin

Agree with everyone else...definitely ask your doctor these questions. I was on the pill for close to ten years I didn't have any side effects when I went off of them, including with my hair.
