A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is one of the funniest books I've read in my life.

Yes, I think she would. Based on some of the god-awful shoes and clothes the character wore in the name of fashion, I can definitely see her wearing them...if they're deemed expensive and trendy enough.:D

That reminds me of another movie! Rachel Getting Married. Tunde Adebimpe from TVOTR plays the groom. Jonathan Demme has great taste in music, and some iconic musician friends--Robyn Hitchcock even does a cameo and a song!

Never saw the entire movie (just bits & pieces on TV), but the book is wonderful! I definitely didn't picture Kidman or Law as right for those parts. (I did see some of the scenes with Jack White, though, and LOVED those!)
