Since when do we not require our change??

Very rude. I think you should call and complain. Of course they want tips (which I'm happy to do for good service), but they can't STEAL them!!! Crazy! It would be like customers taking their tip money out of the tip jar. It's just wrong.

    Anyone recently take the GRE??

As someone who has taken the GRE, here's some honest advice. This isn't a wing-it type exam. You do have to prepare. I was not sufficiently prepared, especially for the math section, and I didn't do great on that section. I did pretty well on the other sections, but I know I would have done...

    Fresh Young Coconut :)

Well, that's a bummer Kathryn. :( But thanks for the info. I don't want to buy them if they are being treated with scary chemicals, and the organic ones are just soooo expensive, I don't think I can justify it, or afford it. Oh well. At least there are so many awesome coconut products to...

    Too precious for words!!! :)

    Fresh Young Coconut :)

That's exactly the technique I used. It was much easier than cutting a butternut squash. I read the tip about how sloshing is bad too. It's a shame you can't buy them closer by. Our regular grocery store (Meijer) has them, and has had them for awhile. I'm scared that now that I want to buy...

    Fresh Young Coconut :)

Hi Catheland! I just had to share that I got a young/Thai coconut over the weekend and just had it as a post work-out meal. I blended the water with the flesh--it was so amazing! Delicious, refreshing, light, just great. I will definitely be buying these often. I've always been intimidated...

    Help with loose leaf tea

I've bought some great loose tea at teavana. I love a bunch of their flavors, but what comes to mind right now is Jasmine Oolong, Zingiber Ginger Coconut Rooibos, Jasmine Dragon Pearls Green, Lavender White. They do a lot of blends, but they also sell straight-up tea. I've found loose...

    I REALLY don't like GWF's new software!

Those of you who were having problems, have they been resolved yet? I don't notice any new discrepancies between the display watch and the software. There's always been small differences between the 2 (maybe 20 cals, 50 steps) and that hasn't bothered me at all. I just started using the...

Happiness and Spending? Sorry, very long.

You sound like you feel so alone, but please know that everybody, and I mean every single person in the world, struggles and feels pain too. I don't say this to diminish your pain in any way, but to let you know that you should try not to let your pain alienate you from the rest of the world...

    Popcorn suggestions?

Morningstar, thanks for the tip about using a small amount of oil. I think that's where I went wrong before with the stove-top method so I'll be trying this. As for Nancy not wanting to clean a pan, that's her business! She's clearly trying to replace her love of microwave popcorn, and her new...

    Popcorn suggestions?

Yep, and I watched it the whole time. But I didn't use much spray. Hmmm, a fire in the microwave wouldn't be good...

    Popcorn suggestions?

I think I used about 1/4 cup or so. And I used a lunch-bag size bag. I saw in some online instructions that you can staple the bag and then fold over, but I didn't want to fool with that. TeTe also suggested tape, but like I said I just folded over about 3 or 4 times and it was...

    Popcorn suggestions?

I love popcorn too and I feel your pain! You could try microwaving it in regular brown paper bags. It's really easy. You just pour in the kernels, spray them with oil and add salt. Then you just fold it over a few times and nuke it. It worked great for me!

    just my dang luck

Yikes Kassia! Remind me never to buy anything from you LOL! :) Seriously, that stinks big time for you, but I do hope you are able to look at this from his perspective. What if you were getting sold an about-to-die lemon? Anyway, good luck, that's a bummer, but look at it this way, instant...
