    Great job, Laura!! I felt like She-RA this weekend. My Mom wanted her broken treadmill out of her basement so my dh & I moved it up the flight of stairs & outside. It was HEAVY but we did it and he said... I'm so glad that you lift weights! :D Oh, and lifting up the 50# bag of dog food...

    Really? I've been using mine for about a year now and my 185# dh uses it also. We have had NO problem, and I never added the brackets in the door frame either. Sorry you've had problems w/ it!

    That's what I think! I have a split level house and the chinup bar will only work in our bedroom door (the way the rooms are set up, there's no room for it in any other door). Oh well, before I had it I had to run out to the garage!! It got pretty cold in the winter. :rolleyes:

    That's my fear!! After working so hard to do chin/pullups, I'd hate to lose that ability!!! I took about 3 weeks off from one round and did Cathe's GS's, but for some reason I still felt like I lost some ground w/ the chins at first!! Never again... ;)

    Ok, please be warned if you try this... severe DOMS the next day!!! :eek: Wow, I'm sore in the legs (calves especially), glutes, lats, shoulders, you name it!! :p I love it though, I was looking for a butt kicking workout and that was just the ticket! ;)

    I absolutely HATE tapering!! I know you have to do it, but it always killed me too!! Good luck, read some books, make sure you're stretching well, and get your body prepared for the big race!! ;)
