- My Fitness Goals
- I am doing my third 1/2 marathon August 17, and then after that, I plan to start doing strength training three times a week and cardio three times a week. I have pre-ordered STS and can't wait to get started. I want to be a lean, mean, fighting machine! Need to lose about 5-10 pounds. I want to try to eat healthier. No more salty snacks.
- My Success Story
- I have pretty much always exercised and maintained my weight even after the birth of my two wonderful daughters. When I turned 40, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy and 6 weeks of radiation. I still worked out during the radiation, but I think the stress of it all made me gain the 5-10 pounds that I need to lose today. Plus, I am on Tamoxifen for the next five years and that has made it harder to lose the inches off my waistline. Anyway, I am a survivor and my future looks bright. I am participating in my second Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk this November and I am running in three 1/2 marathons this year. Now it's time to attack the weights and become the fittest me possible through Cathe's grueling STS program.
