My Fitness Goals
I would like to lose 10 more pounds, but I'm happy to be where I am. However, I want to continue to grow in strength, endurance, and fitness.

I am planning to do the STS weight series in 2010, and I really look forward to that.
My Success Story
In early 2008, at age 59, I realized that I was becoming exceedingly unfit. I was on blood pressure and cholesteral meds, overweight, depressed, tired, and really unhealthy. The doctor was cautioning me about strokes because of my weight and high triglycerides. So one morning I just decided I wasn't going to be this way any longer. I have too many friends who take gobs of medications every day, have diabetes and other ailments, and I was headed that way.

So, I started cleaning up my diet and dragged out my old fitness tapes (yeah, VHS) and huffed and puffed my way through them. I felt so good, even though I couldn't keep up, that I knew I was hooked. So I got on a fitness website and found Cathe. I read about her workouts and ordered "Basic Step and Cardio & Weights." I could barely get through Basic Step, and stood with my mouth open during Cardio & Weights, muttering "Holy Cow" over and over.

Well, even though I was really challenged by this DVD, it was so much fun I just had
