Linda have a good time in PA! I hope you are able to get there. Most of the roads around here are closed, that includes 70, I70, 15 and 340. :eek:
 
Just finished a mish mash of intensity and spinning... 430 cal

Jann- Intensity is similar to the HIIT of Cathe except the pattern is different- It starts out with 4 or 5 moves that you do for 30 seconds each for 3 rotations, such as jog, jumping jacks, heisman, 123, butt kicks and knee lifts, then when you are about 10 minutes in, you do an intensive stretch for 5 minutes... so you are about 15 minutes into it--- at this point, I have usually burned about 150 cal, then there is about 20 minutes left where you rotate cycles of things again...

Yesterday I could finish it-- today, I did the first part through the stretch then hopped on the spinning bike because I am eating no carbs and I got dizzy--I spun away visulaizing my body drawing energy fronm the generous fat stores around my belly:D:D

Lately, I just don't want to do anything involving choreography... but... this too shall change!! The challange is to just DO something in the meantime--

I am down 10 pounds since the first of the year!!

Joan, I should have asked before I bought the p57- Did you give it up or are you looking for something new?

I just don't have time to wo now. I expect to use P57 and BBL plus Cathe's floor work. Cathe's bonus leg work on sts and floor work on B&G are all the type of exercises that really do me more good than 10 million lunges with weight. I use the power tower for p57.

Jann back later I have to take mother to doctor now. Just looked at time.
 
Good morning,

I did Disc 15 this morning. I pulled a muscle in my lower back yesterday so I didn't do the deadlifts....I stretched my back muscles during that time and took some advil. My back feels much better.

Jann - hopefully the snow will have melted a bit in your area. I'll let my sister know about 70 and 15. We end up taking the PA Turnpike most of the way.

Beth - losing 10 lbs since the first of the year is terrific!

Linda I think they have opened some of the roads this morning. I know last night on the news everything was still closed. Jack knifed trucks all over. At one point they stopped plowing the roads because of the white out conditions. :confused: The wind has died down now and the sun is out today!!:D

Beth CONGRATULATIONS on your Diet!! I am so jealous!! :p I was counting my calories and being so good then when this snow came bam bam I was back to eating comfort food. Today that has stopped. I am only down 1.5 pounds as of this morning. It's the comfort food... I really need to give it up.

I did disc 14 legs today. I am not going to try to make up the 2 days of cardio I've missed-- I've shoveled each day. My DS is shoveling the deck as I type. I told him my shoulders just couldn't do another day. :( Tomorrow I plan to do disc 15 and some type of cardio and that puts me back on track. :cool:
 
anyway, i don't know who said this, but she was right!! LEANER LEGS IS HARDER THAN B&G. pretty hard to believe, huh. but , it is tough. first time i have ever done it. yesterday i did 40/20. thought i was gonna die for sure.

have a nice weekend. are ya'll still all snowed in up north? apparantly you are, jann. man, what a drag. it , of course, did not snow here, knew it wouldn't. it was awful though, low 30's and rained all day yesterday. the sun is finally out today, and supposed to be 60 tomorrow, but cold again next week.
 
I feel leaner legs more in my upper thigh than B&G for sure. I've always said I believe it hits me in a better spot. ;) It's tough!!
Yes, we still have snow. Today was sunny and it's melting. My DS is going out tonight and I warned him about black ice. It's scary. I am on the BOD for our community and our meeting was postponed until tonight. I am not looking forward to driving yet. :eek:
 
Jann - We have decided to leave tomorrow morning for PA....the roads in our area are still not good either but improving. Both my brother-in-laws thought it would be to risky driving up tonight. I let them know what it was like in your area. Thanks for the info.
 
You are welcome Linda. I was just reading our area Frederick county was one of the heaviest hit areas... I am not surprised. :eek::D

Beth congratulations on the 10lbs.

Jann I liked p57 but I didn't do it enough to know if it works. I skipped to
the lower body work because sts upper body is so much better. You have to ff because there are no chapters. I'm not sure if it is enough of a wo on it's own. I added the floor work from B&G. I wish there was a 60 min. floor ,barre and standing body weight dvd. Maybe ankle weights. I did some exercises like that 20 years ago from a magazine. It was only 10 exercises for 12 rep but you did it every day. It guaranteed you would lose an inch in a month and I did. I need to find a shorter program that I can follow in March. I'm hoping bbl will do that with some sts. The only thing that might be similar of Cathe's as p57 is the extra leg work on meso 1.
 
Thanks Joan. I may wait to order. I have so many workout DVD's. I have squeeze, and the Barre ones. I enjoy the legs in Meso 2 a lot so I think I'll just stick with them for this month. I am triangular shaped and my legs don't add muscle as quickly as some people who are pear shaped do.
There is an answer out there... trail and error! ;):D
 
Did Disc 15 Back/Biceps. Then added MMA boxing heavy bag... I really enjoyed this workout! :D

Do you have a bag Jann? Or does it need one?

I could not motivate today- I ended up just doing pilates and treadmill- but with no much go power.

Oh well- Tomorrow is another day!
