Challengers-Christmas Week 12/21-27

Good morning everyone. I some how managed to get up this morning. I am really tired after all the events of the weekend. Family left yesterday so now I just have to restore my house to normal. This morning I did the challenge from Rythmic Step and pieces of Imax. I ate terrible this weekend so the rest of the week I need to tighten down and see if I can be good.

Morning Jean, great job with your workout this morning. Im with you on not eating great, i haven't counted cals since before my stomach virus. But i know im not eating alot, and the scale is maintianing(at the moment). Ive still got two christmas get-togethers to go to this week:confused: And ive got a friend who has made me some peanutbutter fudge and coconut divinty:eek: Ive GOT to be careful:eek:

SO, today is the biggest loser core/pilates then a lowerbody workout. Not sure what yet...ive got legs & glutes in mind. bbl with the results.

I have done my 30 pushups 15 on my toes and 150 of my 200 crunches. Tonite is KPC cardio conditioning and the rest of the crunches. I have had a headache for the last two days but did manage to get a good nites sleep finally.

Amelia-I answered your pm now tell me more about this biggest loser pilates sculpt.

Just finished KPC cardio conditioning had a hard time keeping my hr up, and finished my last 50 crunches.

Hi Girls,

It is so great to see all of you still going strong. My eating has been horrible:eek:.

This morning I did LIC cardio premix. I like that one.
I got my new STS cardio shock DVDs today. Started to preview Cardio circuit but was interupted. I will do one tomorrow morning I just am not sure which one.

Tonite is SS Premix #17 lower body only. We are expecting major winter weather so christmas may not happen for my sister and I, at least my kids live in the same town and SIL has 4 wheel drive on his truck.

Elaine-enjoy shock cardio looks like alot of variety.

I ended up doing a long dogwalk yesterday, my lab was shocked when i approached her with the leash:p.

Today has got to be a kick@ss-500-calorie-burner workout,lol. Yesterdays attempt at eating healthy was sabatoged by a neighbors christmas gift...homemade chocolates:confused: AAACCCKKK!!!!

I ordered a new workout yesterday:eek: its called 'Cardio Blast' by Kelly Coffey-Meyer..its got really good reviews. My christmas present to myself:D

Roxie-TBL pilates core is challenging for me. There isn't one single crunch in it. The most challenge move for me is a 'T' stand. Im shaking and can really feel the pull in my mid section. He does planks and then uses a waterball to do some familar moves i seen with Cathe. The yoga section in there is really good too..and im not a yoga fan:confused:

Elaine-Don't feel bad,my eating has been horrible too. I try everyday but to only get unfocused by the end of the day:rolleyes: Have fun with your new Cathe workouts..

Amelia: Homemade chocolate sounds yummy but not to good if your trying to eat healthy.

Roxie: Sounds like your sticking to the Dec. rotation. Are you liking it?

Jean: Have you rec'd your Shock cardio yet? Which one will you do first?

This morning I decided on Travel fit even though I didn't preview it.
It was fun. The time went by fast. I was disappointed that there where no fire walkers or inner thigh band work. But all in all it is a great low key WO. Not easy but just no impact. I used my pink Cathe band. I refused to order the band she uses. I wish she would have included the right band.

Gotta do a lot of wrapping today. I may color my hair today while I wrap presents. We will see.

Morning girls,

I got my workout in yesterday, did pilates/core first,then most of L&G then i felt great so i took off down the road for a run interval and it was awesome(well,besides my legs trying to lock up:confused:). I miss running outside,so much fun. I only burned 390 cals though:rolleyes:

Today im thinking will be a long cardio on the treadmill, maybe CCV6 + some sprints. then i may do some upper body,ive got to burn cals to make up for all the bad eating:(

We have a b-day party event to attend at a japanese resturaunt this evening, kinda looking forward to going. The kids are going to my moms to spend the night too.

Didn't get a workout in yesterday caught a cold again. Tonite is suppose to be Imax 2 blast mania but I think I will stick with something with less impact. I have done my 30 pushups and need to do 200 crunches.

Elaine-let me know what you think of Step Moves, Athletic Step, and MMA Kickboxing those are the ones I am interested in.

Amelia-enjoy your night we are going out for DDs b-day.

Roxie, hope you cold goes away quickly.

Amelia, glad you enjoyed your outdoor run. I prefer them. Running on the TM seems harder to me.

Elaine, are you changing your hair color? I started getting my hair highlighted about a month ago and just love having highlights. Why didn't I do this years ago?

I just got my STS Cardio so I'll have to review and see what to start with. Yay! new workouts.

Yesterday was so busy, but I ended the day with a 55minute run interval on the treadmill...i was so tired before i got on it too, so im proud that i got it in. :) i watched a movie while doing it. The family stone,anyone else like this movie?

Today is cardio plus upper body. Gotta burn those cals.;)

My cold has gotten worse never did get around to working out yesterday. I have the day off so between grocery shopping, stocking stuffer shopping and cooking I am going to try and get push pull done plus some kind of cardio.

Amelia-good job getting your workout done.

This morning I did Step Moves. I hate new step routines, but I was able to pick up most of the moves. Roxie I'll let you know more about how i like it after i do it a few times. I also looked a little at Athletic Step and HIIT. I did the first segment of 40/20 and will have to work up to being able to do the whole thing. Those look they can kick some butt. I'll keep you posted as I make my way through them.

Looks like we might get some snow today. Yesterday it was in the 70's. Weird Weather.

i finished my workout earlier, decided on a circuit, LIC. Burned 580. Now for some lunch.

I have done 150 of the 200 crunches I was suppose to do yesterday but still need to do the rest of my workout. I don't know when DDs are coming over for supper and then presents.
 
Good Morning and Merry Christmas!

Today is a long cardio on the treadmill but first insanity abbs.

The kids woke us ealier and they are now playing with thier nintendo ds systems, DD got 'the littlest petshop' stuff & some barbie dolls and Ds got a race track,cars & some action figures. There both happy, thats all that mattters. We made some cookies for santa last night...he left them a note thanking them and they got the biggest kick out of that:p

today is the last day of holiday eating, tomorrow is back on track for me. Who else is with me? Im not stepping on the scale until the middle of next week:confused:

Merry Christmas Everyone. We have a white Christmas. Glad we went to Mass last night. Yesterday's snow turned to ice and the roads got very slippery. It's starting to melt now as the sun burns it off.

Hope everyone enjoys their time with family and friends.
