here's my workout for the day. GRACE. Once again, looks okay, easy, not bad, on paper,.....not so easy when doing it!!!:eek:

  • Coach Boz OHS warm-up
  • Burgener warm-up

  • 30 reps for time, clean and jerk (135#/95#)
  • I scaled down to 2- 25#kb's
  • TIME: 3:39
  • (last time used 2 20# kb's and my time was 3.35)

[/FONT]Scale weight all the way down to PVC, as needed. Post load and time to comments.

  • KTE (knees to elbows) skill work
[FONT=&quot]
[/FONT]Perform 15-20 KTEs, at your own pace. Break them up as needed. Focus on contracting your lats, closing your shoulder and bringing your torso more horizontal to get your K’s closer to your E’s.

NOTES:
** I used kb's instead of a bb, since I am unsure if my clean with the bb is good/correct form.
**I'm not quite sure how to clean the barbell.:confused:

** the 2 25#kb's were HARD!! I started feeling it at #15.... the last 3 were really tough!

**cash out was good, broke the KTE's into sets of 5. did a total of 20. Good form!!:)

Today is a rest day for me. But I get to take my DS back to the doctor - he didn't sleep a wink last night and he has swelling bulge-like protrusion in his pelvic area. None of my other kids have had it, so I don't know what it could be and I am so hoping it isn't some sort of hernia.

Rhonda, birth is all of those things! Nasty and beautiful at the same time - and utterly amazing. Congrats on being an aunt, and it is so amazing that you got to be there!!! :D:D:D I am very happy for you and your sister's family.

Deanie, I hate KTE. I really want to like them, because I know they are super good for you, but I can't. Burpees I hate, but secretly love in twisted way, but not KTE... I just hate them. So I guess what I am saying is... great job! :p Great job on your increased weight but relatively the same time. You are definitely getting stronger! :)

Last I worked OHS and some power snatches. The gym was BUSY and the 15kg women's Oly bar that I usually use was missing.:mad: So I had to work with the 20kg (45#) bar instead. In the past I'd had trouble doing OHS with that because the extra length would throw me off, however last might I was able to pull some together. Here's the run down:

Buy in:
Usual OHS limbering up (this seems to take forever)

Good Morning!

Got up a little late today but managed to do practically all of Cardio Barre Ultimate Advanced (skipped a little of the arms but they were a little sore from all the chaturangas yesterday and probably the arm balances, forearm stands and handstands).

Rhonda - Welcome back and congratulations on being an aunt!:D I'm sure you'll do better once you get your goals on paper. Writing things down always keeps me in check.

Deanie - 30 reps is a lot with 2 25s! Good job! Maybe you have to get one of those shorter barbells like Anthony uses.

Gayle - No upside downs today! I went back to sleep when I should have woken up and fell into a deep sleep and had a nightmare. I was lucky to stay right side up! Great workout last night! Enjoy your rest day!

Melissa - I hope your DS is okay. You certainly have had your hands full the last few days. No, 14 kisses isn't a lot. You deserve it! KTEs aren't fun but I know what you mean about the burpees.

Jane - I'm also thinking of you. How did the interview go?

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the all the {{{hugs}}}. They are much appreciated!!!!!

No workout last night or tonight. I still have a race scheduled for Saturday afternoon and I may do that. I haven't run in 2 weeks since I sprained my ankle so I won't set a PR. My ankle is better. There is still some bruising but the swelling is pretty much gone and it doesn't hurt.

Mom and Dad both go to the doctor today so hopefully the doctor will tell my mom to rest. She won't. She takes the meds and once they wear off a little she is up doing things. It's drives me NUTS!!!

The interview with the home health care agency went well and we tentatively have someone coming in on Monday to start. We are just waiting to see what the doctor says about my dad's condition. He is declining a bit in all areas - walking, speech, less engaged, not eating that much and less control over his bladder and such.

For the warm welcome back and the congrats on being an aunt:D. Today I did Low Max premix 4-7. I could have done more but it was actually snowing :eek:so I needed to get an earlier start.
