thinking about the insanity rotation

so i've been thinking of the rotation recommended for insanity and i'm not sure i'm not to keen on it for me. since its super intense i just don't think my body would handle doing that everyday and i would totally get burnt out or even bored since the workouts are similar to one another. so i'm thinking of doing it 3 days per week (M,W,F) and then on tuesday and thursday do like pyrmaids or some upper lower split. Or mabe do even MM or ME. I just think that i will get totally burnt out from doing this type of workout everyday.

I know what you mean.
I'm going to stick with the program as-is (adding 4DS) for first month because I'm going to the beach in 3 weeks. I think it will help me get super lean.
For the last 30 days I "think" I'm going to go to 3 days a week with meso 3.

I think the rotation looks a little more grueling on paper. I've done 2 day HIIT, and today is cardio recovery (lower body/core), followed by 2 more days of HIIT. The 40 minute sessions are over pretty quick so it's not too bad. I couldn't handle the 50 minute max training, that's a given:eek::eek:

I was thinking the same thing. I thought I'd do insanity every other day and weights in between. I'm not sure I'll have it in me to jump around like that everyday! I've done the sneak peek twice and it is ruff. I may attempt to though cause I want to loose baby chub.

Cardio recovery was a breeze today.
I did Cathe's 4DS legs before and finished off with the recovery workout.
If you get bored with the recovery workout, you can sub it for a yoga workout. It's a very easy going lots of stretches and balance work.

If your goal is to lose fat, just try one week of the rotation. It's really 2 days on two days off. It's not bad at all. That's my story and I'm sticking to that:D:p

The workouts are set-up so you can put as little or much as you want into them, so you may be able to get through them no problem. That being said if you really want to give it your all for every workout you do maybe 3 times a week is a better idea. I agree with Cynthia, try it for a week and see.

Now boredom, that may be an issue :( This is only 60 days, for those of you who may have got through Tony's P90X, I would think 60 days should be doable. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Personally, I plan to do the first week as is without changing a thing. Okay, maybe I"ll add some steady state cardio after the fit test, but that's it. I want to be able to put all the energy I can muster into the workouts. If I sail through (not likely), then I might consider adding additional work. :D

Two days on, Two days off. Huh? I didn't quite follow that....
