Never mind Patti answered me. Thanks!

Finally!!! I did some chinups today:eek: The last time I did any chinups was way back in Meso2 whenever that was. Anyway I did Lauren Brooks kb workout and the chinups were done durning the rest interval of the first 4 rounds. I did 5/5/5/4. Not too bad. I am still being careful with my foot. It seems better. But there is still pain at times. I am sure age has nothing to do with the slow healing  I may try Low Max or some other low impact step tomorrow.

Linda, are ya loving the doms?

Judi, are you still at the lake?

Linda, are ya loving the doms?

I'll be lucky if I can walk tomorrow!:p:confused::p:confused:

Anyway, I drove 20 minutes to meet & train my client, from there drove 50 minutes, to the beach to meet my family, then drove kids from the beach 30 minutes to go to a friends birthday party, then 30 minutes back to clients house for a graduation party, now I am finally back home. So I will check in tomorrow and let you know Disc 3- Legs went, IF I can walk as far as the computer that is!;)

Linda, I had doms for 4 days after disc 3  It put a real hurting on me:cool:

OK, tomorrow is the day I try low impact step again. Cross your fingers. The foot seems better. The toes are numb, but not painful like they were. There are occasional pains/discomfort but not bad. I promise one day I will stop talking about my foot!

Oh and I 've got some back doms from the chins and hammie/buttock doms from the kettlebells.

I did LM today up to blast #5- I hate that one anyway. That was about 50 mins with the stretch I added on. Foot seemed ok during the workout. Some discomfort, but no real stinging and burning, so hopefully that's a good sign. I guess I'll have to see how it does later.

So what are you ladies up to today?

Woke up this morning and was so tired from yesterday's running around and my glutes and hamstrings are SO sore, that I didn't want to do anything. But I dig drag myself out of bed and manahed to do Kimberly Spreen's Cardio Camp Workout. It alternates Hi-Lo Combos with Kickbox combos. It was a lot a fun and took about an hour and I burned 408 calories.

I had a major meltdown/pity party for myself last night :( My foot was very bothersome after doing LM. It was fine during the w/o, but a few hours later the toes were a bit swollen and the foot painful. I told DH and some others that I wish I'd never had surgery  It's even more frustrating now that I know the podiatrist even thinks I am not recovering the way I should  I am mentally better today though. Thanks for your ears ;)

This morning I did 4ds Chest and Back work followed by CCV1 on the stationary. Who the hell said V1 was easy  I really cranked up the resistance on the hill challenges and almost reached puke factor several times:confused:

I hope you all have had a good weekend!!

Catherine - Sorry to hear that your foot is still being so bothersome. I was really hoping this surgery was going to make things better.:(

Thanks Linda. I am just gonna have to be content with modifying what I do for now. I was just having a bad day all around yesterday.

So how are your legs doing-did they recover yet??

I'M BACK!!

Wow, I missed being here! We got back yesterday and I had laundry piled to the ceiling and no food in the house. It was a great vacation, the weather was awesome and I ate & drank way too much:eek: DH couldn't get his phone-laptop connection to work and wouldn't call his tech guy for assistance:mad: so I couldn't check in. I only ran twice due to TTOM cramps so I really had to kick myself in the butt today. Went for an hour and a half bike trek burning 516 calories. Then off to Costco, Sams, and the vet since Cooper (my dog) had goop coming out of his eyes. Well, $88 later, I find out he has an infection in both eyes (like pink-eye) UGH!

Linda- I see you started to follow the STS program. I had to laugh at your comment about how anyone can continue to lift 60% of 1RM toward the end of the workout without getting frustrated. THAT was me all the way! Don't you remember my whining and complaining??? LOL! I have decided to do a muscle endurance rotation and plan to start doing meso 1 again. I'll let you know how it goes. I need to get back to my chins/pulls:eek:

Catherine- Sorry to read about your foot still bothering you:( NOT FAIR!! Nice job on the chins you did during Lauren Brooks workout. I still cannot do more that 2-3 unassisted so maybe going back to meso 1 will help. Then I might try another round of P90X. Are you getting ready for the RT?

Welcome Back, Judi!

Nice job on the bike trek. Your vacation sounds wonderful!

I was whining about STS and the 60% to let you all know that I commiserate with you. I found out exactly what you were all talking about, not that I ever doubted anyone.;) I didn't even bother to do the 1RM testing.

Ok, I replied to this last night and who knows where my response is

Judi, sorry to hear about your Cooper's eye infections :( I may plan to restart Meso 1 again after the RT.

Linda, I don't know what kind of crazy you are to do the drop sets of pushups from GS before disc 4 of STS  Simply amazing!!

Linda, I don't know what kind of crazy you are to do the drop sets of pushups from GS before disc 4 of STS  Simply amazing!!

Catherine - Okay, I am not that crazy. Disc 4 starts with drop set pushups - starting with 14 and dropping 2 until you get to 6. So since I had GS Chest in I just went ahead and did them with Cathe, skipping the first set of 16 and stopping after the set of 6, not doing the 4 & 2 rep sets. Believe me I am not doing on more pushup than I have to.

This morning I did Amy's KB Surge with weighted gloves. Workout was 1:06 and burned 584 calories.

BTW, have some DOMS in my shoulders from yesterday, which I rarely get.
