Buckeyes beat Purdue but I didn't see it. None of us here in Buckeye Country get what's going on with our team. If you're a Buckeye you know what I mean. They should have been killer this year but they're all over the place and nobody can pinpoint exactly why. It's just gotten kind of stressful to watch...

I hear ya on that. They put a lot of faith in Pryor. He's good, but he's still young and has a lot to learn yet. They also think Beanie is the greatest thing, but personally I think he's a wuss. If Beanie had any kind of heart for the game, he would of played against USC.

I didn't like the way the team fell apart when Beanie was out. I hate this whole Lets-rely-on-this-one-guy-to-make-our-team-happen attitude. I mean, if you're the other team all you have to do is take out that one guy and you're all set (except, with Beanie it was "turf toe," which nobody's actually explained to my satisfaction...). I've heard a lot of people whine about Coach Tressel, calling him too conservative... Like everything else in life, everyone's looking for one scapegoat but, clearly, what's up with our team is more than one thing. I said to my friend Patty, "Maybe they're all freaked out about the economy and the election... since we're looking at everything else, why not? But this was supposed to be THE YEAR. And when some Buckeyes say "There's still hope..." I say "For what? If they got to the National Championship they'd just go down again because, as usual, they're just not there mentally." Nobody gets what's up. I think The Buckeyes need group therapy since it's not really a case of talent. I did think Pryor should have been the go-to q-b in the very first game, when it became obvious Boekman (sp?) wasn't able to get the job done. But that's just one problem with our team. Even our defense is jacking-up.

Clemson played Thursday night against Wake Forest. It wasn't worth the Bud Lights I had. I fell asleep the last 3 minutes of the game and asked Andrew, "please tell me Clemson DID NOT lose to Wake Forest?" Cullen Harper is out for GT game and replaced by Willie Korn.
I do pull for USC-Carolina, when they are not playin' Clemson, they won against KY. Garcia quarterback for several series. It has been a big to do around here with the starting quarterback.
I was hoping Vandy would win. Ditto for ECU-only because I like Skip Holtz' coaching style even though I would pull for an ACC school.
Did manage to see the first half of GA/TN game, 3 minutes of Mizzou. I love college football.

Yes!! Minnesota beat Illinois at Illinois during their homecoming. The Gophers are 6-1 so far and finally bowl eligible. Quite a change from last year where they only won 1 game the whole season

Ball State won - again! They are undefeated this season, and to be perfectly honest the only reason that I care is because my brother is a student there, lol. Go Cardinals!!!

My Oregon Ducks beat UCLA!!!!!!!! I had such a fabulous time out with a few girlfriends - I think it stumps people sometimes that a table of girls is routing louder than anyone else... Of course that was until the $260 bar tab showed up.... LOL.... And yes - we had a DD...

Not only did Clemson not win Wake Forest, Coach Bowden has been fired and/or resigned. Clemson plays Georgia Tech this weekend. Interesting changes for sure. As I have stated before what a weird 2 seasons of college football. And as anyone knows football IS a religion in the south!
