Cardio Coach

For any of you cardio coach fans; how easy is it to download a workout onto my ipod? I've been thinking about downloading or ordering a DVD but want to know which is easier. I also saw that Sean decreased the prices due to the economic crisis we're going through now.

It couldn't be easier! Coach Sean even put up 2 videos that guide you through the process. Here's the link: http://www.cardiocoach.com/support.php

His prices are rock bottom. I just bought his complete library for 2 of my nephews -- a combined total of 18 workouts for about $125 (that was for downloads). Wow! How cheap is that!?

I have done it both ways (press play workout download and upload of CD). It's no more difficult than any uploading any music CD or getting a podcast.

Michele suggested I get the CD so I would have a back up and I thought that was a good suggestion. :)

These have to be the best value workouts available right now with the lower prices. They really are very high quality!

I did buy the entire collection on CD for myself. I think a lot of people buy the download and burn their own CD for back up, but I preferred to buy the CD from Sean. I just think (rightly or wrongly) that a CD he burned would probably be of higher quality than one I burned myself. And some of them have very cool packaging. :)

Thanks for the replys; since I'm starting out, some what an intermediate category, which version would you reccommend?

It really doesn't matter which one you start with because Sean uses perceived exertion to gauge effort. With his method you decide how hard you need to work to achieve the level called for in the workout. I started with Volume 1 and worked my way through them in order, but it's not necessary to do that, it just seemed logical to do it that way. The workouts are more challenging in later volumes, but that's because the challenges are longer with shorter rest periods.

I recommend reading over his "Quick Start Guide". It covers the levels of perceived exertion and heart rate training zones, should you care to use an HRM. I found it extremely valuable and I still refer to it on occasion. Here's the link: http://www.cardiocoach.com/about.php

You can't fool us, Miss Lee... you just wanted all those hot pics of Sean on the CD liners
