Superbands

They look like a great way to help with pullups - although I have no experience using them. I did, however, want to chime in as I have experience with the company selling them. At my physical therapists recommendation, I ordered a foam roller from Performbetter.com. I ordered it on Wednesday and paid extra for 3-day shipping. I received an invoice in the mail yesterday morning saying they shipped it regular shipping and instead of me paying the $15.00 for expedited shipping, they charged me the $7.50 for regular shipping. So I called them, a bit confused. The man told me that since they were in Rhode Island and I was in Massachusetts, it was already on its way with no "extra effort" needed to ship it quickly across the country - so they didn't feel it was right to charge me for the expedited shipping.

Okay - kinda long story - but I was amazed at the honesty of this company - they could have shipped it and charged me the extra $7.50 anyway. I would order from them again.

I purchased the thickest band for assisted pull-ups and it works great for my set up.
I have a hoist squat/pulley cage.
I move my bench out from the cage, hook the band across on the hooks(on each side of the cage), raise the bar to the highest hooks. I stand on the band and it works really well.
I think you could use this with the door type pull-up bar.

Do you love your Hoist Pully Cage? It looks amazing?!!!

My PT has the pulley system on the back. I didn't have the ceiling height for the front pulley. The front pulley had the assisted pull up. That is all that is missing from this cage.
Not sure if you can see the pulley system we have on the back. It has the stacked weights in the tower. I have a lat attachment on top, and below are cables for one or two arm rows. I also have the ankle attachment for leg/glute work.
I LOVE it! It was a pricey venture, but so worth the investment. It is a SOLID set-up. My husband and I bought it 3 years ago.
When I saw Cathe's new STS, I had to pre order. This cage is made for STS (or vice versa:D)
