Happy Monday gang! So happy to be back with you and my computer!!

Lots to read since Friday to catch up so I shall do personals in bits & pieces throughout the day... Cant miss any wonderful news!.

Weekend: LowMax – felt good and felt like a leg workout now that I knew what to focus on! I slowed pace when I was losing intensity in legs so I could “get lower”. My booty felt it Sunday morning. Took yesterday off… STILL no Stott Pilates – so I will try to work that into todays scheduled workout – TaeBo Circuit 1 (YES! It came over weekend!) Eating over weekend was a disaster! I was on a mission to eat every powdered mini donut in Sargeant TX! I am feeling the crankiness of that far more than the bloat. Sugar makes me EVIL the next day…Woke up snappy and mean- I'm a morning person so have already said apologies to family and its only 4:15am!.. Back on track today with Tosca Clean Eating Program. I am just about done with the Drs no yeast thing so it shall be a happy week!

Going to read the weekend scoop & I shall return!

Good Morning, Traci and all who follow!!!

Welcome back, girl! I am sorry to hear that the weekend vittles were a disaster!!! I can certainly understand about making it your personal mission to deplete the donut population!!!

I just wanted to take a peek and see if you were back yet. I need to finish up the last bit of nurse-y stuff to end the shift. Later!

~~~~~~ PERSONALS ~~~~~~~
Amy: Way to go on an hour of yoga! That is a major breakthrough for us Non Yoga people isn’t it!? Yes P90X yoga is a killer… Many of my Xers swear by it for a great deal of their leg leanness & strength…. Did you read Sandra (Fiddlefit) overview in OPEN? She just graduated… Remember her from WW? She stopped checking in here when we started the Xers 3-4 months ago. Great news about measurements too! Maintaining after a few tough weeks is awesome…means the body is more forgiving if we keep working out! Rollins on hand? YOU GO GIRL!!!! I about kill myself when I attempt those un modified… I am falling all over the room. Great core strength showing up for you. I hope you are getting enough sleep in this weekend so you don’t get too run down. Great job on working thru the cardio mental stuff. You will be just fine…
TGIRL: Hope your weekend was wonderful & exciting!!! Did you get your strength training done?
LoriS: HOORAY!!!! The scale is back south!!!! That is so awesome!
JANE: Hope all is well. I imagine you are pretty busy these days.
Gidget: AWESOME & exciting news about Saturdays scale victory! That is just incredible. I am happy happy happy for you!!! You are being smart with your points. I really think it is more of a “range” than a set # as every body reacts to various foods differently. I know I got into trouble w/ WW when I was striving to hit their magic #... it wasn’t my bodies magic # so that’s why I went to counting calories & following nutrients on sprakspeople. NICE run Saturday! 8 miles is quite a milestone!
CHERYL: YES indeed you had a Saturday upper! WOOHOO!!!! I think we should all only see our friends every 6 weeks so they really notice our changes! Lol!!!!!! I am so happy for you… not like it was (is) an easy road but you are so determined and doing things the right way! A very proud moment I’m sure! I do hope you are not coming down with that nasty infection. Take care of you!!! VERY pleased to read your meeting went well Friday! You are sending out such positive vibes I can’t imagine it going any other way. WOW on good eating for birthday dinner! You amaze me how you can cook like that and not eat everything in site every Sunday.
Kali: Great job on RS without step! I know you’ll get same great workouts without legs bulking! Go for it!! Look at you go on that TM! You and Cheryl can do TM challenges now! Lol.
BELINDA: Ab Bootcamp is a 35 minute Billy Blanks workout. 20 minutes standing / 15 floor…. GREAT MOVES… If you need a challenge for that 6 pack this is a good one! Great job on SH Saturday. Those workouts are mentally tough to get thru for me but they work so well. I have a few of CRUNCH Pilates/Yoga blends… I really love Ellen Barrett.
You sound so motivated in your weekend posts.. Success creates such a terrific flow of positive energy doesn’t it? Hope you love sprakspeople as much as Amy, Cheryl & myself do… Has helped me see patterns in nutrition that were the final missing pieces to my weight loss puzzle… I guess I owe being at goal weight to AMY as she got me started on it.
Jessica: I find it so difficult to eat out anywhere! Restaurants know how to make food really good… BUTT-A & FAT! LOL. I always make sure that I plan in a high calorie day or 2 just for those occasions… its so hard to get a correct guess on calorie & nutrient factor. Hope your work in grad school goes smoothly for you!
CLAUDE: Still miss you and want to hear if the new workout room is up and running yet.!
Happy Monday to all!!!
Busy day… a couple of workouts + Lawn Max (you can tell its spring in Houston!)
Goooood Moooorning!
It's going to be a good week, I can feel it. It's bound to be a bit rocky with my partner for the balance of March while we work out this division - but it's to be expected and is far better than the slow burn she's been conducting since last summer. She will be talking today to the one employee I'm hoping to take with me, trying to counter offer.... I hope to know by the end of the day (or have a good indication) if he's coming with me.
This morning is going to be iMax 3. YOWZA! If I'm feeling really energetic, may do GS Triceps that I didn't get to yesterday. I think the sinus infection threat is back under control after the rest yesterday and 2 doses of AirBorn over the weekend.
Amy, hope your work finishes up well!
Traci, welcome back home!!!! Sorry about the donut incdent - but we all have them, and now it's over with. So glad you're almost to the end of the no yeast thing. My personal theory is anything that strict is bound to make you snap and head for the nearest donut... I do think you'll have a much easier time of simply eating clean when that death march is over with ;-) :eek: }(
Have a great morning, everyone! I'll check back in later -
Cheryl
Hello ladies...i just joined ww over the weekend and i hope you dont mind if i jump in. i gave birth to my 2nd son in may and my body is clinging (for dear life..ha!!)to those last 10 pounds. i have been wondering about how to incorporate cathe into my activity points. from what i read we are suppose to use 1 activity point for each 100 calories burned. now is that also true for weight work. i do wear a hrm so my calories burned are accurate. today i will be doing sjp(i love that workout) although imax3 does look tempting hmmmmm!!!
Good Morning Gals!
Im just getting ready to workout. Planning on doing LIC today. I did 2 runs in a row and thinking I need a break on the jumping:) I use to have problems with my knees before getting pregnant and it seems to have disappeared and I want to keep it that way.
Sleeping last night was a little rough. I think Rylan must be going through a growth spurt b/c the last 2 nights he was up twice. Before we went to bed last night I tried to give him a bottle with formula b/c they are suppose to sleep better, takes longer to digest then breast milk...but he was having no part in that! I don't think he liked the taste b/c he takes breast milk from a bottle. Oh well...hopefully tonight will be a better night but I am planning on getting a nap in today.
Traci, did you get attacked by donuts, or did you attack them!? We went to get a coffee the other day and I was so tempted to order a donut but I kept my ground and didn't. I use to enjoy going to the cabin for the weekend (when Dh's parents owned one) but I would drink and eat so much! When it was a group trip my friends and I would make a trip to the store just to buy every bit of junk food we could find. It was awful. So glad I have a reason to stay home these days. Thanks for the congrats on the scale. Its still holding steady at 138-139 so I am hoping never to see 140 again!
Amy, have a good nap!
Cheryl, enjoy Imax 3. I have tackled that one since giving birth. Maybe I will try it this week.
Mary,welcome! I joined WW's online 4 weeks ago and have lost 10.7 lbs of my baby weight and have 8-9 lbs to go and 14 lbs to my goal weight.My baby is now 8 weeks old and I am back into my jeans! The program really does work but you have to stick with it and be honest. Are you doing the flex plan or the core? I am doing the flex plan while LoriSax does the core program and loves it. I do WW's online though and just clock in my workouts. You really don't get that many points when working out and its all calculated by your weight. I got 6 points the other day for a 8 mile run! But I must have burned atleast 7-800 cals.
You will also love this group! Not everyone follows WW's but everyone is so inspiring and upbeat. If the scale seems to stall this crowd lifts you back up and they make you not want to raid the fridge and the cupboards!
Alright, i have to get this workout done before its lunch time and everyone is home!
Lori:)
Morning,
great weekend! :D :D my workouts
S: GS Chest & hour jog :D
Su: GS back 2x- KPC kick & leg conditioning & abs
Sunday, at the last minutes me a three other friends decided to go the new openly Casino in Erie Pennsylvia, laughs good conversation as always. I did not get home until 1 o’clock this morning,
Today, is most definitely going to be a rest day :p I’m still Sleep! x( x(
As far as eatery, last week I give myself a 9 would’ve made the 10 mark but, I had 1 drink at the Casino. This week a 10. Check back later!
Teddygirl~
Good Morning, and welcome Mary. Traci, I am glad to see that you safely made it back. Sorry about the donuts, but they do sound very good!!
Amy, what is injured on your husband, is it his back???
Well, my March is jam-packed. I have 4 shows this week, and an Expo to work all weekend. I will only be checking in here and there, but I can assure you, I am still alive. See you soon!
Lori
Good morning ladies,
Welcome Mary!:)
Traci welcome back home!:) The Crunch Pilates I mentioned the other day, the instructor is Ellen Barnett. I really like her:) Billy Blanks Bootcamp must be a new one??? Sorry about your donuts! I haven't had one in 2 years.
Cheryl glad you felling better!:) Have fun with IMAX 3 :)
Amy get a good night sleep:D
Kali great job on RS and TM!:)
Teddygirl enjoy your rest day!:-
Today is LIC for me!
Have a great day and work hard!
Belinda
Wow, quiet bunch today. If I had my way I would be super quiet and be asleep right now. I caught a little nap earlier but it is 8 here and I am ready for bed but a mothers work is never done. I think its soon going to be time to get DS on a schedule.Then I will get to bed earlier.
I did LIC today and PH abs. It was a good workout but I didn't work up as much of a sweat as I would have if I had ran 8 miles:) But its good to have some easier days.
I think tomorrow will be a run and UB...or something and UB. DD will probably be taking her Ipod to school with her so running won't be as much fun without music.
Hope everyone had a good day. I am having a hungry evening and I am hoping not to raid the cupboards.
Lori:)
Hi, everyone!
A busy Monday -
Welcome, Mary!
iMax 3 was fun. Definitely a keeper, now that I know Cathe's cuing and I know it's legal to use it on a 6" step :eek: :7
I wasn't able to give the blasts 100% though, since I'm still fighting a bit of sickness off.
Weight was 125.2 this morning - not good - but bf hit a new low of 18.7%, so I'll keep that.
Things going fast and furious on the new company.
Traci, I've been thinking about your husband a lot during all of this, imagining what he's going through as well. The next 3 weeks will continue to be a little rocky, I know, but I've never been happier. A former client called this morning out of the blue and wants me to represent his company - hurray!!
Tonight I'm taking 2 of my sons to dinner. I'll behave, and I'll check back in later -
Cheryl
Hey, everyone. I hope that you are all having a great day!
LoriS- Yes, my DH has a very, very bad back, but since we don't know what caused his accident, they are going to be doing an MRI of his head tomorrow morning, and another one of his shoulder on Wednesday. The shoulder happened before the accident, he tore his rotator cuff when he fell a couple of months back. I know that he sounds like he's old with everything that's going on, but he's only 45!!!
Gidget- Congrats on the LIC, I know that one's a kicker, even if it IS low impact!!! I hope that Rylan behaves tonight and lets you get some sleep!!
Tracy- Thank you girl! I have been accused of a lot of things, but NEVER for someone being at their goal weight!!! Yes, I did read Sandra's essay (yes, I remember her and miss her from here) and found it very eye opening. Finding that I liked the yoga was also eye- opening! I hope that it has some leg leaning properties that can work on me!!!
Mary- Welcome to the zoo crew!!! You are more than welcome to join the craziness around here! We have several people that come and go and many who stick around.
Cheryl- Congrats on I3, I just can't do that one with the blasts. I do okay during the step stuff, but the blasts are too much for me. Congrats on the former client!! I am sure that you will be having clients crawling out of the walls after your split! Have fun at dinner!
DH wants to do breakfast after his MRI tomorrow....which means Waffle House. I still have a bit of trepidation over that, but since I have my arsenal of what I can eat, I will do okay. I will see you all tomorrow!
Amy - Waffle house? Oh dear, oh dear.... maybe they have some nice oatmeal with fruit in it. Glad you have your arsenal of choices!
I took my boys to Chili's. I had the cedar plank tilapia with vegetables and some mashed potatoes. Yum!
My youngest boy (the Russian son - 12) is chubby, so I told him if he would give running a try I will pay him $1 per mile. So he's in there on the TM giving it a go. I may be onto something here.
Have a great night, everyone! See you in the morning!
Cheryl
Hi Guys! Sorry I missed ya'll yesterday and today! This is the first time I sat down at the computer today!
Hi Mary! Glad you're joining us! I don't do WW's, but I am "watching my weight" so they let me hang out here. LOL!
I'm off tomorrow so I'll be able to hang out and catch up with all of you!
Today I got to work, and before I could tell my boss that I'm officially "losing", she said "you look great"! The pants I had on were too tight last week. I had to wear a top to cover my gut. Today I wore a short mock turtle neck and my pants were baggy after not even having them on for an hour! I wanted to weigh in, but I'm going to wait till Friday. We go by weekly overall average not daily fluctuations (sp). And I talked to the PT about the step workouts without the step and that I feel like I'm so cheating. She said for someone with my body type and genetics, that is going to work better for me than stepping on 2 risers and I have to get out of that mindset and I'll be amazed.
So yesterday I did Lowmax w/ no step (and crap I still felt it)! I don't know if I should have, but I just felt like pushing my legs. And today was SJP. I just skipped the leg work and did the UB and abs.
Hi to Traci, Gidge, Cheryl, Teddygirl, Jessica, Belinda, Lori and Amy!!!
Sorry to ramble and not do personals. Just excited. I will talk to you all tomorrow. Have a great night everyone.
Kali
High five for tonight!
xoxoxo,
Cheryl
