Is the WW food/equivalent-point info available for puchase at any bookstore?

No, but they are often sold on E-Bay & you can also go into any Weight Watchers center, meeting, etc. and purchase one. You don't have to be a member to make the purchase, or at least you don't have to proove that you are one.
