Weight Watchers Checkin WEDNESDAY! 10/18

Hi Jennifer,

I have all the Imax’s Are you asking me how do I compare Imax 2 to Low Max. Good question, I find LM easier than Imax 2, LM concentrate more on lower body and yes you are going to work those legs (pretty hard) }( }( LM has only 7 blasts were as Imax’s have 10.
LM is low impact high intensity workout. You are going to love LM, just wait! Plus the drills in LM are fun and music is up beat. However, I tend to lean towards Imax2 ;) :) Do you have Kick Max? if not it is a must have.

LOL... Traci - I'm not sure I am worthy of that crown! I like to mish mosh though.... I love to get out that Cathe Compendium and start devising new ways to torture (ahem... I mean work) myself....}( }( }(

I went back on my exercise calendar and the day I did that one (months ago), I also added BC core only premix onto the end.... Clocked in at 80 minutes. I wonder why I haven't done that one again!}( }(

Just wanted to pop in. Busy board today; I'll have to catch up later.

Ended up taking a rest day yesterday. (did some abs before bed) Just too tired to workout out after work. I'll make it up by working out Sun. which is my usual rest day.

This morning I did PLB (all). I love that workout. A really glute burner.

Eating went well; stayed at 22 pts. yesterday. On track today for 21-22 pts. I earned 3 APs with PLB.

In case anyone is interested, Cardio Coach is having a major sale. I posted to link below.

HI everyone -
Swamped today - so it's gonna be short. Did a stability ball class yesterday and my back is NOT HAPPY;( . Haven't worked out yet, am hoping to get in a steady state cardio tonight. Have an appt with my massage therapist tomorrow, but I'm tempted to skip it and call my physical therapist. I know he can fix my back in just a few seconds.

Karen - High Fives on the 1.6!!

Buffy - thanks for the heads up on the CC sale. I'll have to check it out later.

Sorry no time for more personals - I'll catch up later!!

Claude

I have been hearing so much about Cardio Coach. I have a treadmill, and I usually run for an hour, when I do. What CD should I start out with?

Silly question, what do you play it on your DVD player? :+I know nothing about it.

Teddygirl~

Teddygirl... I was thinking the same thing... I am seriously considering getting a treadmill for Christmas and really want to know all about this Cardio Coach thing.... please educate us....

I use cardio coach CDs for your computer or DVD player. I also use it just w/ a treadmill so far (thats in my office w/ computer). You can download them to your MP3 off the website as well.
I dont have a MP3 yet and I dont want to buy a portable DVD player so I just use the CD.
I only own CC3 but would definitely reccomend all the ones above and beyond this one! Its perfect for me as I use CC as a supplement only but for you die hard bikers/runners/walkers etc You'd prefer the lengthier ones. Buffy is our resident expert so I know she'll help guide you as she did me. I am really looking forward to ordering more in the future... very reasonable $$$ since it can be used with all activities.
Oh and the fact that the coach sean is "ear candy" is a good reason to buy too!!!!! I just picture him right there next to me whispering in my ear...........ahhhhhhhh;-)

Hi, ladies -

Well, BootCamp was a wonderful idea, but too intense for the day after Muscle Endurance. I only made it through 15 minutes and was dying... and my tush and my biceps both hurt.

So I moved to TM for 45 min and finished with Debbie Siebers Slim in Six pack for a total 70 min workout that left me dripping with sweat. yayy!

Jane, Sandra - as for eating the APs - I try not to eat more than half of them... and I try to stay away from the flex points altogether, although I generally end up using at least a few of them on the weekends. Aaagh! We'll see how that does. I'd love to be losing 3 pounds a week but would settle for 2. My weigh in is Saturday mornings. I track everything on weightwatchers.com. I love it! Worth every penny of the subscription.

Jane, envisioning roaches on apple dumpling buns?
That would sure kill a craving for me!

Traci, sounds like the Cardio Coach is working great for you! ;-)

Gotta run, but couldn't resist checking in... x( x( }(

Hey, all! Just got back from DH's MRI trip. It all went okay. Realized, AGAIN, just what a twit our dr's nurse is!!! The dr left her a message to call and tell us about the FMLA paperwork and she never told us!! Good thing we were in the same building as the office for DH's MRI so we didn't have to make a special trip!x(

Anyway, had a couple of yummy chicken soft tacos for lunch. Although I was rather frustrated with the "very very fluffy" man behind the counter that just didn't get the idea of "a tiny bit of cheese" and "just a little sour cream"!x( He put enough cheese on the taco to cover 5!!! and enough sour cream for both of them!!!x( Oh, well, that's what the fork is for, scraping off what you don't want, right???

Also found my favorite knitting needles at the local yarn/porn shop! (it's so fun just to go in and fondle the yummy yarns!)

Traci- No, it's not stalking, come on over! We also have a Cathe thread there, too!!! And a WW thread!

I would love to try CC, but don't have anywhere to play it. I don't have a treadmill to adjust the intensity and I don't like wearing headphones while I run outside. The way they drive around here, I need all the warning I can get that a car is coming! I know that they don't watch for pedestrians/runners and when they "discover" you "all of the sudden" (as if I can move that fast!) they act like it's all your fault that they didn't see you!x(

Got a bit of shopping therapy in at VS (needed to get a good push up bra now that I am losing all my front!) as well.

Well, off to circuit...BTW the house smells super yummy!!! Lunch was late, so dinner will be even later!

Teddygirl (and everyone else!): you are making me want IMAX2 now :). It's on my wish list, so I may have to get it come bonus time ;).

I don't have Kick Max, and I'm trying to decide whether I want it. I heard it's not as fun as KPC, and KPC is my favorite Cathe workout (well, that and PowerMax :)). Who are we kidding, though, I'll probably get it too at some point LOL!

Jennifer

Jennifer- Imax 2 has become my "new" Low Max, now that I have rotated it out of my current line up!! I love it!!! I do it at least once a week!
