To Lose Weight...

Is daily cardio essential to lose weight? (Daily meaning 6 days a week, not 7).

If so, how long each day. I'm looking to lose 1 pound a week. I currently weigh 165, but I'm already muscular, with a little extra fat on my inner thighs.

I wouldn't say it's essential--you can probably lose weight w/diet alone. However, it will speed up the process, and I would add it is essential to your health.

You should do at least 30 minutes 4-5 times a week for weight loss, 30 minutes 3-4 times a week to maintain.
