RIP, Mary!

Makes me come to terms with my age since I remember PP&M when they were very popular. "Leaving on a Jet Plane," Puff the Magic Dragon," etc. She hung on to that signature hair style for a loooooooooooooong time. I don't know that she ever changed it.

Edit: I see that she cut it when she got way older. It looked good shorter.

I always thought she was so beautiful back in the day. I wish I could been have hanging out in those Greenwich Vlg coffee shops back then and see all those performers---what cool times for many.

OH I remember growing up and my mom listening to them! I liked them as a child so you know they were good Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I remember my older brothers and sisters listening to their Peter Paul and Mary 45's and albums. LOVED Leaving on a Jet Plane (Still do! and know EVERY word) and Puff The Magic Dragon.

Mary Travers lived in our area so I had many chances to see her. She will be missed.
