Hi folks -
I would love some hair dying advice. I have been using a semi-permanent store-bought (Garnier HerbaShine) dye on my hair for many months to make it red (level 6). My natural color is a dark blond/light brown. I was thinking of going blonde (not platinum, just a bit lighter than my natural, maybe level 8). I would prefer not to wait until my natural all grows out. What would happen if I just used the same brand of dye on my now quite red hair? Will it turn orange? Will it just not work? Any advice for going blonde would be greatly appreciated.
