OMG. Finally did my first Cardio Coach.

I'm not sure whether I'm understanding what you're saying, but here's what I did. I set my HRM view to the largest I could get with the actual HR. I wrote out my percentages in large block letters/numbers and propped the paper on the TM's little book/magazine shelf. Between the two of them, I had quick, easy references.
 
Yay for you!

I love my HRM - it showed me that I worked entirely too hard during my workouts, which explained why I was so exhausted by mid-afternoon.

If you're just starting out (or starting over) cardio-wise, I recommend CC's #1, 2 or 3. They are shorter and not quite as intense. Sean has a "buy 2 get one free" special going on right now.
