HI,

Does anyone use this service? It is 120 dollars a year. I am buying more and doing more things online than ever before and wondering if this is a good investment to stop identity theft.

I signed up with Lifelock last year. Its kind of annoying because if you ever get something or apply for anything that requires a credit check you have to go through a question and answer thing so that the company can identify you. But I think its worth it...especially since they guarantee that if your identity is stolen they will cover any costs up to 1 million dollars. Better safe than sorry.

I don't use it but I have heard that they are being sued. Apparently the CEO who does those ads where he gives out his SS# has had his identity stolen more than once. Here's a link to the article I saw.

Sorry for the bad news. On the bright side maybe they'll stop airing that annoying commercial. I always turn the radio off when it comes on. Maybe I could sue them for pain and suffering.}(

You might try this one. It's the one Dave Ramsey reccomends. It's also cheaper and according to D.R. they will do all the work for you if your ID has been stolen.
