Life After People...

Oh no, they never chew furniture. They only chew their bones and occasionally my underware. None of my dogs seem to realize they are "dogs". They sit in the chairs on their butts like people and look out the window. They are NOT allowed on the couch though, so we now have strips of clear packing tape across the couch to keep them from getting on it. It actually works because they HATE the tape.

What a bunch of little sweeties:7 I like how the one lets the other one just "take a seat" right on top of him!

I LOVE the pics :) :) :)

The one of Chey sitting on Dakota is funny. Tucker does that to Tanner all of the time :)

We've tried many different things to keep them off the furniture (especially since Tanner had his back surgery) but they seem to outsmart us every time. I must agree that they rule the household :)

I saw the new pics of the piggies...Dharma's hair is so cute. I also have to brush Stewart's hair since he suffers from a bad case of bedhead every day :D

Don't you just LOVE our furry babies!!

Chastity - I just looked at some of Stewart's pictures. What a little cuddle bug!!! That's so cute that he lets you brush his hair. Dharma loves having her hair brushed, she just doesn't like getting picked up. She runs around squealing until I finally grab her and then she's fine.

Liann, thanks for providing a smile on a pretty bleak day. I love those weiners! And the pigs are pretty darn cute too. Love Dharma's hair.

awwwwww .. how precious are they???

IA .. my dogs RULE my house (and their parents)!!!

The male thinks the spare bedroom (bed) is HIS .. and the couch is made just especially for him (ummm he is about 130 - 140 pound baby) ..

You gotta love 'em!!! :7

LOL! Your doxies are sooo cute!!! I have 5 weens, 4 of which are rescues, and they absolutely rule the house. I don't even try to keep them off the couch, I just put snuggle bags and throws on all my upholstery. Here are my kids:

Yay! Another doxie owner! Your dogs are all adorable Lorrie!!! I love those snuggle bags. I had those for my ferrets back in the day, but I never thought of using them for the dogs! I bet they would love something like that! ;)

I just checked out your picture trail photo album - those newborn pics made me swoon :7 Just too cute. I'm a member of Florida Dachshund Rescue and have a weakness for the special needs and older weens, those gray muzzles get me every time.

If you want to see lots of weenie pics, check out the customer photo albums on my website:

Liann - I saw this book tonight in a catalog at my folks and thought of you and every other owner of stumpy-legged doggies. :)

"When I get depressed, I just take a look at our two weiner dogs. You'll never see more of a can-do attitude - in a more can't-do body - than a weiner dog."

Liann,

Thank you for sharing the pictures! They're too cute for words. Gotta love the sight of a happy dog. I have two American Eskimo females who obviously think my purpose in life is passing out milkbones and scratching ears!!
