Legs & Glutes for the first time !

YIKES !!!
I am basically new to Cathe, although I think since i now have 6 of her videos/dvd's, I may have to stop saying that.

I asked for some good beginner workouts and the gals on the board were kind enough to suggest Push & Pull , SuperSets, Muscle Endurance and Legs & Glutes. I did Push & Pull last night and Legs & Glutes this morning. All I can say is Thanks and OUCH !!!!!
I could not use the heavy weights Cathe and her crew used, but I di compromise, I was doing great until she got on the floor , the last 5 or 10 minutes killed me and my legs, but what an awesome workout!
She leaves no part of your legs untouched, but makes it fun.
Push & Pull was also a great workout. I am not sure how sore I will be, but I can feel every muscle in my body.

You did the full Legs & Glutes work out? I have that one but have only done the standing premix...I'm afraid to try the whole work out! :eek: lol

I just did Push Pull for the first time last night myself...I really liked it too! Supersets I did for the first time in the beginning of the week and enjoyed it as well.

Cathe is great, isn't she?

Good for you! L&G is such a great workout! I'm sure you're going to feel muscles you didn't know you had! :) :)

Wendy, First congratulations on smoking your last cigarette! Way to go,
I hate to admit this, but I do smoke:<( and quitting is my next goal. And you are pregnant too? YEA FOR YOU.

As far as legs and glutes go, I did MOST of the complete workout, It is about 50 minutes long and I think I did fine except for the floor work towards the end. I pushed it. I am 56 and my body is asking me why I am doing all this stuff :>)))
I have not tried Supersets yet, but plan on doing that tomorrow.
Cathe is fun..I just cannot catch on to her complicated step workouts. I do habe basic step/body fusion and just got High Step circuit/beginners and love that one. It is my favorite so far.

What did you think of the leg lifts on the ball for the outer thigh area in Push Pull? The first set was fine but when she went to the other side, OMG!!! My support leg was cramping up immediately from having just been worked...it was hard to keep up on that 2nd leg! I will have to alternate which side I start with so that my legs are "equal". :)

L&G has great premixes too. I love the 20 minute ankle weight workout. It is very effective and great when you are short on time.
